Everything was perfect! The place was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. It had everything we needed for a great stay. The kitchen was fully equipped, so you could easily cook your own meals if you wanted to, which was a nice bonus. The location was great, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. WOW.
Over the past year I have been to 10 five star hotels at least, and they were nothing compared to the Dolder. The Dolder Grand is something else, something above five start, something truly unique that I wished I had experienced earlier.
My suite was absolutely gorgeous, with a stunning view over the lake of Zurich. Everything in the room was clean, tidy, luxurious.
The SPA was one of the best I have ever tried, beautiful and calm indoor pool, with an outdoor jacuzzi overlooking Zurich.
The staff and the concierge were all super helpful, super kind and really made me feel special and welcomed during my entire stay.
Finally I want to make a special mention for the food....the Saltz Restaurant was extremely good but what has totally surprised me was the breakfast.
HANDS DOWN THE BEST BREAKFAST ON PLANET EARTH.
Super happy of my stay, as I visit Zurich few times a year, I will make sure to stay at Dolder next time I come in few months.

Incredible hotel, in an incredible location! Our favourite Hotel in Europe! Spectacular views of Lake Zurich. Only 5 minute drive to the Lindt Chocolate factory and 15 minutes to the centre of Zurich. The hotel itself is very modern, extremely clean and such a wonderful experience! The wellness area has a gym, spa, hot tub, sauna rooms etc and all are immaculately clean. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay outside of Zurich CBD but still be so close to everything! Thanks for a wonderful stay! We loved it!

(especially Luca give us so much informations when we arrived) . we like our breakfast and we have a nice conversation with staffs who work in morning section. we also love the sauna room . it is SUPER . The tram just 1 mins walk to hotel. Everything in the hotel are perfect for us.

A fascinating city with plenty to see and do on a 4-day (5-night) trip. We bought a Zurich card for 3 days and 1 day respectively and this rapidly paid for itself in terms of free transport and free admission to paying museums. The public transport (mainly tram and bus) system must be the best in the world. Highlights are the amazing Kunsthaus gallery which needs at least a full day, and (when the sun shines) the trip to the Uetliberg.

This airport is modern and located close to Zurich city centre. There is a train station located beneath the main airport building. The journey into the city takes approximately 10/12 minutes. My wife and I travelled directly to Lucerne which only takes an hour.
Some airport signage needed to be more prominent especially for first time users. My wife and I had a little difficulty locating the security area after completing baggage drop off. All signage is White on Black which is fine but perhaps larger signs to highlight security could be in a bolder colour or larger format.

My main thing was the location. From Rumlang transportation was easy.Besutifully easy..10 mins bus ride to The airport - fantastic. Also a 30 sec walk to Zurich HB

It is a very busy place and especially in and around the train station which is surrounded by a great variety of shops. The station can be a bit confusing with it's multiple access points from different streets. I would definitely recommend Winterthur as a place to stay if you are flying into or out of Zurich Airport. The journey time is much shorter than if you were staying in Zurich itself and there is a very good frequency of trains to the airport.

My wife and I would have loved to enjoy Zurich but we only used the airport for arrival and departure. We rented a car to enjoy Switzerland and I can tell you that the roads were nice and well documented. We also found the airport to be efficient and the staff very friendly.

This small suburb approximately 15 minutes by train to downtown Zurich was less expensive than most hotels in Zurich. They only gave two towels for two persons in the double room. We needed two more. In the extreme heat climbing several flights of stairs was no fun. Very basic rooms with clean renovated bathrooms

Very convenient to visit Zurich (10 mins to the main station by train and trains and 15 mins to Zurich airport by bus/tram). All public means of transport are on-time, reliable, and very often. Shops, restaurants, bakeries - all within a walking distance.

The hotel is value for money.
The hotel is value for money. Affoltern is just half an hour from Zurich. Given that the hotel is very close to the train station, the hotel is our base to explore Switzerland. From Affoltern via train, we can go seamlessly to Zurich, Zug. Luzern, Interlaken, Fluelen, Brig, Bern, Rheinfall and St Gallen.
The train station has a convenient store which we can buy bread, pastry, juices and snacks.
Really recommend other travellers to stay at this hotel.

Multifaceted city, very easy to explore on foot.
Multifaceted city, very easy to explore on foot. Good fun to go to Lindenhof in the old town or the ETH Terrasse to get a view of the city, river and surrounding area. Also make use of the tram network and go to the Uetliberg (Zurich's main mountain) or the Rigiblick (the mountain range opposite the Uetliberg). Eating out is very expensive but manageable if you use the restaurants in the two main supermarket chains, Migros or Coop. They offer a variety of menus some of which are also suitable for vegetarians or vegans. In terms of street food, try a Bratwurst or Cervelat with a crusty roll and a rivella (refreshing drink). Last but not least, you might want to get a Zurich Card which includes free transport, some free entries to museums and even a mini lake cruise (we had a 3 day card). Enjoy!
