Hotels near MADC, La California

Enjoyed the free upgrade to our room. Breakfast was very good. Comfortable bed.

Lovely hotel. Very friendly staff. Good food and clean comfortable room. We had limited free time but staff arranged purpose built tour of the waterfalls and coffee plsntations through an agent for us. Our guide, young Andreas was exceptional. Outside the city is much better to see real Costa Rica so take some tours

Everything ! The staff the location and the breakfast 😍

Very cleaned and reception people super kind

The breakfast was excellent, and all of the staff were nice & friendly, I only spoke with a few but this is a relaxed, safe and friendly hotel / casino. The big doorman were also charming once they started talking, very helpful. One of them offered to walk the 5 min walk to the shops and ATM if I felt unhappy walking there. I walked on my own & it was fine. Thank you to all of the Taormina people, it is true what they say " Good people are what makes a hotel work well"

We had a clean room with a small kitchen and hot water as long as the pressure wasn't too high.

Really stunning private rooms, super clean, great staff.

Only stayed 1 night but the hotel has great rooms and very clean, all the staff from reception to restaurant were very friendly.

Great hotel , well located, modern and spacious - great resto on the rooftop

100% recommended! I’ve stayed at Fleur de Lys several times with my family, and it’s always a lovely experience. The city center is just a few minutes away on foot. Everyone whether from housekeeping, the kitchen, or reception is consistently friendly and attentive. The breakfast is fresh and delicious. The rooms are always clean, and this beautiful 100-year-old building is exceptionally well maintained, both inside and out. It’s just perfect. Thank you!:)

We booked a room for a night in Aranjuez, but ended up staying 3. The place is magical. We loved quirkiness of it, unique decor, jungle growing inside, hidden cosy chairs, and the absolute highlight - breakfast area. The breakfast was the best we had in Costa Rica. Its a buffet with a great selection of fruit, bread, cheese, ham, cakes, teas etc. Special compliments to the chef, who is making omelettes. They are nice, We watched amazing wildlife during dreakfast every time: squirrels, hummingbirds, butterflies, tropical birds of most amazing colours.

Lovely staff, very comfortable room and beautiful building. Breakfast was cooked to perfection

Charming property near downtown San Jose. Perfect for a couple of nights to allow time to explore the city. Lovely staff, peaceful, relaxing. And just a 30-second walk from a good al-fresco restaurant.

how lovely the lady attended me! she was amazing!

We arrived early and the staff were helpful in storing our luggage. They messaged us on WhatsApp when our room was ready.

Very family friendly I feel safe comfortable and home away from home 🏡

All the accomodation was great, the staff very kind and extraordinary location

Safe location, close to the bus terminal

Nice place. Unbelievably big room right at the back of the hotel. It had a room that was a walk in wardrobe and big bathroom number. Close to all the restaurants. Best breakfast place is the coffee place when you turn right when you leave the hotel it's at the end of the street opposite the pasta place when you leave the hotel. The breakfasts on Calle 33 over priced and the cheaper ones not good quality.
