Lovely hotel. Very friendly staff. Good food and clean comfortable room. We had limited free time but staff arranged purpose built tour of the waterfalls and coffee plsntations through an agent for us. Our guide, young Andreas was exceptional. Outside the city is much better to see real Costa Rica so take some tours

Very friendly staff. Nice restaurant, they had a falafel sandwich and a falafel burger, so it was easy to eat there. The fries were very good. I had lunch and a conference call and never felt rushed.

The rooms were very clean. Such comfortable beds. A very nice hot shower. The location is perfect for the city centre attractions. We went to the National Theatre for a concert. There are also many eateries near. We would stay again. Thank you.

The breakfast was excellent, and all of the staff were nice & friendly, I only spoke with a few but this is a relaxed, safe and friendly hotel / casino. The big doorman were also charming once they started talking, very helpful. One of them offered to walk the 5 min walk to the shops and ATM if I felt unhappy walking there. I walked on my own & it was fine. Thank you to all of the Taormina people, it is true what they say " Good people are what makes a hotel work well"

A very nice hotel in San José center. For my first night in Costa rica it was perfect. The room is very clean, the shared kitchen was very clean. The man who welcomed me was very helpful and polite. The bar café close is very nice too . I recommend to go there to have a drink or to have lunch and dinner. I recommend to take the transportation of the hotel from the airport...it is less expensive than official taxi. Don t Trust the official taxi in San José airport, they wanted 100 dollars....to be safe , book with the hotel...

Stunningly renovated former sewing factory with a beautiful use of the old and the new. Excellent service from all the staff. Perfect location only 2 minutes from the shopping mall and halfway between all the main museums and tourist attractions. Super view and food on the rooftop restaurant Azoteca. Free tea and coffee making facility in the reception. Great variety of food at the buffet breakfast. Lovely room with a huge bed and very comfortable. Terrific shower with hot water!

The place itself. Does not look much from outside by oh my...inside? The best we've been in Costa Rica!!!

The room was huge, colonial style with a really high ceiling. The hotel is a nice old building with several good places to sit and chill, inside and out. The staff are friendly and helpful, there are good choices available for breakfast. The gym is not modern but all the equipment works.

The owner was giving us some good tips for going out. When we left she organised us a nice driver after we had technical problems with uber.

Good value for money. Budget price for a clean room with a shared bathroom (which was also clean). Good Wi-Fi. Very happy

We arrived early and the staff were helpful in storing our luggage. They messaged us on WhatsApp when our room was ready.

It is centrally located, yet you can't hear the bustling town.

Checking in was more complicated than necessary. Each room is privately owned and managed by booking.com or a representative. We arrived around 8pm and the security guard at the front desk didn't have our reservation at hand. After an hour going back and forth through booking.com customer service we eventually got in. Room was standard,

The room was great, with a table for working and strong internet connection. A big and confortable bet and superfriendly staff

Nice place. Unbelievably big room right at the back of the hotel. It had a room that was a walk in wardrobe and big bathroom number. Close to all the restaurants. Best breakfast place is the coffee place when you turn right when you leave the hotel it's at the end of the street opposite the pasta place when you leave the hotel. The breakfasts on Calle 33 over priced and the cheaper ones not good quality.
