The lively chef with the keen sense of humour who was skilled in creative cookery as evidenced in the evening meals which included German specialities of Pfifferling Schnitzel and, on the second evening, Rinderrouladen (Beef olives) with Red Cabbage and dumplings. Good selection of things to chose from at buffet breakfasts which included smoked salmon

Great location amongst rolling hills and lakes. The hotel is immaculately presented, clean and modern and the staff were extremely helpful and welcoming despite my being attired in fly-spattered motorcycle leathers. The food and wine were excellent and the room was very well appointed and had a great view over the countryside. Unfortunately I arrived too late to sample the spa but it looked very enticing. Overall, excellent value for money considering the facilities on offer and quality of the building, services and food.
