The 19th-century Duquesa de Cardona, opposite Barcelona’s marina in the Gothic Quarter, is 1969 feet from the Ramblas and has free Wi-Fi. Amazing location, very friendly and professional stuff.
Set the center of Barcelona, 1312 feet from Picasso Museum and Barceloneta Metro Station, Duquesa Suites Barcelona features a year-round outdoor plunge pool, sun terrace and free WiFi. Brilliant location, facilities, staff, cleanliness, view
Set within the World Trade Center building, this 5-star design hotel overlooks Barcelona’s port and is a 5-minute walk from La Rambla. It features a seasonal rooftop pool, a gym and a spacious... We’ve got lucky to be upgraded to the best room in the hotel cause they didn’t have a king size bed...
Hotel Santa Marta is just 325 ft from Barcelona’s fashionable Born area and França Train Station. It offers simple, air-conditioned rooms with TV, tile floors and private bathrooms. The location is phenomenal!!! Staff was very nice and breakfast was good.
Great beach but very hot sand and pebbly towards the water. A few lovely bars you can enjoy a cocktail or two on. Only thing I hated was the people selling sunglasses, towels and water. You don't feel like you can really relax due to them lingering around you and your belongings. Keep them safe!
We went on a Sunday and it was very busy, no space on beach but area surrounding was lovely to walk around, marina area lovely too for sitting and looking at all the expensive yachts!! Lovely restaurants and bars too
Worth a stroll just for the sunshine and people watching. Side streets take you to the slower side of the neighborhood. Go to the market for some local food at the neighbouring restaurants, rather than the touristy main drag
It's better to go to bogatell beach as barceloneta is full of gipsies try to offer massages (they try to touch you as well!) sell blankets etc so you can't really relax as you need to check pn your belongings. On the positive side, it does have a lot of nice beach bars and restaurants.
It's a typical city beach. If you like these type of beaches, you'll like it, but it's nothing special. If you are not accommodated next to the beach, then you have to get through some really unfriendly parts of the city to get there. When we were there in late April it was not crowded at all, and it was pretty clean.
It is good to visit but do not expect to have a good sunbathe experience. It gets really crowded and the beach is not the most beautiful one, there are nicer beaches 20 mins away from Bcn. It is good to sit on a terrace and have a refreshing drink. Also worth going to Hotel W sky bar, views are beautiful!
The hotel is clean with a perfect location, I like the district, it's 2 minutes on foot from Barceloneta beach. It is possible to have a 15-20 mitutes walk in order to reach Las Ramblas and Barri Gòtic. The hotel staff are very nice and helpful, client-oriented. There is a wonderful roof bar terrace with a fantastic view! Yesterday I was lucky to see one of the famous football players of FC Barcelona in the hotel lounge bar!
Not my first time in this lovely hotel. Every time I travel to Barcelona I choose to stay in Hotel Del Mar :) great location 10 minutes walk from city center, 3 minutes walk from train station "Francia" & the metro station. 10 minutes walk from the barceloneta beach. . really nice staff willing to help with anything you need. the hotel is warm an super cozy, definitely will recommend to friends :)
The hotel is located in a very good area, animated with plenty of shops and restaurants and at 2-3 metro stops from important objectives (city centre, Barceloneta beach etc). The room was very clean and the towels were changed every day. Good value for money, you get exactly what you see in the pictures.
