The hotel’s location is excellent, right in the Gothic Quarter, close to restaurants and cafés. You can easily explore the neighborhood and return to the hotel without any hassle. The staff is amazing and available 24/7. The breakfast setup is great—it’s a freshly prepared order rather than a buffet. I really appreciate the hotel staff for their constant smiles, and a special shoutout to the young Italian woman who has never been to Rome—haha!

We spent 4 nights in this hotel during our stay in Barcelona and enjoyed every moment. All the compliments to the staff - very helpful and lovely, amazing breakfast, very clean and stylish rooms, and on top of that - amazing location. Staying at the Duquesa de Cardona hotel is, in my opinion, the best way to experience Barcelona. It’s not just about the perfect location, which truly is ideal, but more so about the warmth of the staff who genuinely strive to make you feel welcome and go above and beyond expectations. It’s evident that this level of hospitality is ingrained in the culture of the place, not a coincidence. From the breakfast team to every employee, they made us feel like family. The truth is, I would normally stay at the W, but I believe that if you come to Barcelona, it’s for the spirit of the city, not for an Ibiza-like feeling. I must specifically mention some of the exceptional reception team members, Karim and Enrico, who are among the most outstanding people I have ever met. I will gladly return here… and importantly, unlike many other places where staff asked me to leave a review, this team didn’t even mention it. 👏👏👏
