Located next to the City of Arts and Sciences, the stylish Barceló Valencia offers a terrace with city views and a small seasonal pool. The modern rooms include free WiFi and flat-screen TVs. Good staff. Nice room. The pool is smaller than in the pictures but it's very nice.
This design hotel is located just 5 minutes’ walk from Valencia’s City of Arts and Sciences. It offers a gym, sauna, indoor pool and air-conditioned rooms with a plasma TV, free Wi-Fi and pillow menu.... Eeverything, especially breakfast!

This hotel has an ideal setting by Valencia’s City of Arts and Sciences and offers contemporary rooms with free Wi-Fi and flat-screen TVs. Buses leave from outside the hotel to the center of the city.... Full service hotel as expected.
Expensive to get it but well worth it as long as make sure you leave yourselves plenty of time to get around everything as there is so much to see. Why not make a day of it and take your own lunch to eat outside, when the weather is nice, before you get into the aquarium
The structures are well designed and the subterranean passage under the aquarium is fascinating. All very interesting, the walruses, the sea lions, the dolphins, the sharks and more. The shows in the movie theater, together with a host of special effects make for a unique experience. The drawback is that when it rains, the building leaks like a sieve. Something else that could be improved is the signage within the grounds, it's difficult to navigate there with the signs they have.
This aquarium definitely fell short of expectation. We live in the San Francisco Bay Area, home of the Academy of Sciences and the Monterrey Bay Aquarium - two world-renown destinations and science centers. Oceanografic was very touristy and worse yet, they have a Beluga whale family in a small, cold tank which was the biggest turn-off. Also, they have dolphin shows which I am against. I wouldn't step foot into this venue again. GO TO THE Museu de les Ciències Príncipe Felipe instead! It's wonderful!
Loved visiting here, was the highlight to our trip. The animals are so well looked after; I'm normally very cautious about these kind of parks but this was lovely. Would definitely recommend a visit.
A bit over-hyped, a bit expensive, kind of dirty food places. Just another one of those big aquariums and dolphinariums without personal touch. No animal interaction areas. Kind of bland. Nothing special. Very crowded. Strange underground thematic aquarium areas that are not connected. If you REALLY need to see a beluga or walrus, go. Otherwise, maybe not. Yawn.
Keep enough time for this visit, even one full day may seem less as there are so many things to see, don't forget to watch shows for Dolphins & sea lions, analyse what all tickets you actually need to buy, before buying a Hemispheric ticket with Oceanographic ticket, check if there is a show in your language for that day
Most everything, except the noisy street. The lady on the reception was very nice and helpful. Metro and bus station are very close or you can reach the charming old town in about 15 minutes by walk. Bus 95 is 3 minutes away and takes you direct to Oceanografic and Ciudad de las artes. Corte the Ingles is across the street and also a very good turkish restaurant with delicious food at low prices. It was very nice. Thank you.
We stayed the one night. A brilliant location to access L'Oceanografic and very handy access to restaurants. The room was very comfortable. Very safe carpark which was important as we are travelling by car with a roofbox and bikes. Staff were wonderful.
Close to metro, 3 tram stations to beach, 4 bus stations to Oceanografic. The apartment is big, 3 bedroooms +kitchen and 1 big living.
It is close to Turia canal and Oceanografic. Pool is small, but nice and there is sauna to use, which was great.
Well located to go to the oceanografic. Nice facilities. Espectacular views of the city. Highly recommendable.
