Disneyland Paris
A Disneyland icon, the pink-tinted turrets of this fairy-tale palace really make you feel like you're standing in front of a castle from the French countryside. Watch out though – this one's guarded by a sleeping dragon, so you’ll need to tread carefully as you make your way inside, passing by stained-glass windows and tapestries. When night falls, the castle is illuminated by fireworks and a spectacular light show!

We visited at the time when there weren't so many people, so we didn't have to wait for long for the rides, max 35min. Our expreience was amazing, and we would recommend visiting this wonderful place.
The fireworks at the end of the day are magnificent, even if they were 45min late. The only problem was the heat. Most of the park is concrete, full sun exposure, so I was so sorry for the children that had to endure that. You can buy food, but very limited and extremely pricey and to be honest, the same goes for drinks, which, in my opinion, is not ok, especially during the summer.

Gluten free dining etc is possible but not cheap.
Gluten free dining etc is possible but not cheap. Brasserie Rosalie in the village caters with choices and the stalls outside Ratatouille have gluten free galettes cooked on a discrete hob. Neither is mentioned in any of the many YouTube videos we researched. The better restaurants can all cope, Auberge de Cendrillon character meal costs the earth but is really good.

We had the perfect day there. Sunny but not too warm.
We had the perfect day there. Sunny but not too warm. Lots of people but the lines were not unbearably long. If you don't mind riding a ride with strangers, use the "single rider" line when it is available. That cuts down on a lot of waiting. Even if a restaurant indicates that they are fully booked with reservations, ask if you can be seated. Especially if you are just 2 or 3, they will sometimes fit you in.

A Magical Experience for All Ages
A Magical Experience for All Ages
Disneyland Paris, the enchanting theme park located just outside the city, is a place where dreams come true. From the moment you step through the gates, you're transported to a world of fantasy and adventure, where beloved Disney characters come to life and unforgettable memories are made.
The park's stunning attractions, including Sleeping Beauty's Castle, Space Mountain, and the Pirates of the Caribbean ride, offer thrills and excitement for visitors of all ages. The colorful parades, live shows, and character meet-and-greets add to the magic, creating an immersive experience that captures the imagination.
But Disneyland Paris is more than just a theme park—it's a place where families and friends come together to create lasting memories. The park's charming Main Street, U.S.A., with its shops and eateries, offers a delightful stroll back in time, while the themed lands provide endless opportunities for adventure and exploration.
Whether you're a lifelong Disney fan or experiencing the magic for the first time, Disneyland Paris is a place where dreams really do come true. It's a magical experience that will leave you smiling from ear to ear and counting down the days until your next visit.

Only decent food we had was at the american diner in the village. The place is otherwise completely overprized and -crowded. Be prepared to stay in long lines for each ride unless you get the fastpass and a merchandise store at the exit of almost every ride.

If you are taking the RER make sure to purchase a separate ticket to get there and back! We learned the hard way. You can do both parks in 1 day if that is all the time you have like we did. We were there from open to close and felt we were able to do everything we had on our "must do" list. You could stretch this to 2 days if you want to be able to do some rides multiple times or just take it at a slower pace. While it was busy, the crowds were nothing like that of Disney World in Orlando. We did not purchase any premier access tickets, however it was tempting. Thankfully we waited it out and lines did get shorter around dinner times. The longest wait we had was 45min for Big Thunder Mountain and that was worth it! Overall this park was a great experience, many more thrill rides than DW. We would go back!

Hotel is a short walk to the metro. My family stayed here to explore Paris for a couple of days and took the metro to Disneyland Paris on the third day. Good location to fly out of Orly and the breakfast was enjoyable.
