Some of the best service I have ever received while staying in a hotel. Due to the smaller size of the hotel the staff learn who you are. I never once had to even say my room number. Breakfast was amazing and it is definitely worth it to eat at their Michelin star restaurant. Centrally located in the town of Uzes, they gave us recommendations and made reservations for where to eat, they recommended where to go for a run, and even where to stop on our way out of town for things to do between Uzes and Marseille along our drive. The building itself was beautiful and bathroom in our room was massive and updated. Will recommend to anyone travelling to the south of France as not just a place to stay but a destination.

La Taverne is located in Uzès, on a pedestrian street just a 2-minute walk from the Duché Castle. The tourist office is 100 metres from the property and Haribo Museum is 3 km away.

Loved the pool and bar/ restaurant area. Rooms were simple and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. It had secure free parking. The town was beautiful and exceeded expectations.
