I am no football fan; so this was a visit which began with some trepidation - however it was awesome in that you get a really true insight into why their fans are so loyal and absorbed in/with this club - really worth a visit
Did the Legends Tour - runs on a Saturday - excellent experience - all the guides in the stadium for the regular self guided tour are excellent also, super friendly and happy to chat & impart their knowledge. You get 10% off merch if you do tour.
Stadium ok but totally unsuitable for a concert. Difficulty getting to the stadium and coming back to the hotel was awful. They had laid on some buses to go into the city centre but there must have been over 1000 people waiting, we gave up and asked some locals who pointed us in the right direction, luckily we eventually got on a bus. Im not surprised Anfield hasnt held concerts for ten years, they need to either work better with the council or stop
We went to see a concert and found it a really good venue. Although once the concert finished it wasn’t clear where to catch the bus/taxi back as there was road closures and we ended up walking back to town.
The best team in the whole world! Stadium is fantastic now the Main Stand has been added. Facilities are good with numerous food outlets inside and out. Toilet facilities are plentiful and always clean. All the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. People with slight mobility problems such as myself are assisted hugely by access to the lift in the Kenny Dalglish stand- I have been grateful for that help this season whilst suffering from chemotherapy induced fatigue
Amazing. I’ve been there many times. The excitement, atmosphere and the staff make it a very special occasion. On the downside there are too many touts on line who are ripping off people. I know so many people who never get their tickets. The club must look deeper into solving this problem.
perfect location for visit to Anfield LFC The hotel is all Liverpool themed and we stayed in the suarez room. Room was immaculate and suitable for a short stay over a weekend etc. Staff very helpful and friendly. Bar in basement so well away from noise. Breakfast very nice continental with ample choice. I would definitely recommend this lovely hotel.
My wife and I visited Liverpool from the US to go watch a Liverpool FC game at Anfield. Hope Street Hotel was the perfect home base for this purpose. The hotel is centrally located with a great restaurant/bar and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
The staff were amazing. They went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Would highly recommend staying here!! The location is fantastic for exploring the centre and visiting Anfield. The hotel itself is clean and welcoming.
The location was perfect for game day. We easily walked to Anfield. The house was clean and quaint. I would definitely stay here if I get back to Liverpool for a game.
This hotel is beautiful! Very clean, kind and helpful staff. Pretty close to Anfield which is great! But…not very close to much else.
