If you like Hen & Stag nights, loud music, grubby streets, grubby buildings and partially clad people (both sexes) who should really not be partially clad, then this is the place for you. The fact that the council has built a superb new tramway passing along Broad Street and made massive improvements to Centennial Square only to have these investments completely negated by the lack of 'clean up' of Broad Street is beyond velief.
Don’t go on Friday nights and Saturdays very busy and full of noisy inebriated adults however in daytimes it was ok but again public transport and roadworks are in full swing but canal walks lovely and better if you go to the outskirts of this citu
Very easy to get lost finding the platform, leave time to get there as they usually depart pronto and the train door locks before departure time. Plenty of restaurants and toilet easy to find on 1st floor. More like an airport!
My expectations where way to high after reading reviews about hot this was party central for Birmingham, coming from london this road had quite a few good restaurants and a few good raving spots with amazingly cheap drinks and cocktails however I just wanted MORE choice!!! So I guess my tip is, don’t have HIGH expectations for this Street, then it’s sure to exceed them ☺️
The room and that was it . Staff were so rude from start to finish . Stayed there two nights and the first night we didn’t have a key. This opens the door up to assault or robbery as the staff on numerous occasions did not even ask us for is when we would come in or out and we just told them our room number so anyone essentially could walk into our room or to the breakfast hall. We compared the staff and services on broad street and they were far better we won’t ever be recommending this branch .
The location on broad street was a walking distance to everywhere. The reception staff we very helpful specially Easter and Lily. They printed my boarding pass and gave me good advice on where to visit while I was in Birmingham and wished me a good trip. They were very polite, professional and friendly with a smile on their faces, a rare encounter when I stay in UK hotels .
I liked that it was located in a quieter area, 10 minute drive away from Broad Street and the ICC arena. The grounds that its located in is very nice. Shower, bed and breakfast was spot on and the cleanliness of the whole place was impressive
fantastic flat, super clean, well decorated and a great location a few hundred yards to Broad Street. Was cheaper for 2 couples than a hotel and we had the flexibility of the kitchen facilities meaning we could suit ourselves!
I love the fact it was security on site. The location is awesome. The hotel is located on Broad Street. 10 min beautiful stroll to the city center. Broad Street is a strip with great bars, music and awesome food.
Fab location for bars/clubs on Broad Street and rooms are large. Security was on point at the end of the night ensuring that only hotel guests were allowed in, which made our party of four women feel safe.
The apartment really was beautiful! The location was perfect, 2 mins away from Broad Street. The apartment was very clean and the beds were amazing, I really couldn’t fault anything. 100% would recommend.
The location was excellent, you are a couple of minutes away from the city centre bars or the lively Broad Street.
The location was perfect for a night out on Broad street.
Eating around the jewellery quarter there are some nice gastro pubs but around Bennett's Hill there are some excellent restaurants which are away from Broad Street and the chain restaurants in Brindley Place.
Avoid broad street if you just want a few drinks with friends as it gets very hectic, and can be daunting.
Birmingham is a lovely place to stay there are lots of things to do . The person are very nice night life is good on broad street bar clubs.
Had a good night out on broad street went to Ming moon for a Chinese all you can eat was gorgeous! Staff very friendly too
We was told to avoid Broad Street as its the trouble-some area but we found it very pleasant and less drama then a Friday night in Brighton. Deff recommend if your under 25. If your over 25, check out the Arcadiam - its more up market, so nice dresses and heels for that one.
