The hotel is at a great location if you have work to do on campus, but it is a 30 minute walk (downhill) to the city centre. Walking distance to Arthur's seat. The breakfast was good, good selection fo tea.

Very friendly and helpful staff Bed was extremely comfortable! 5 minute bus ride to Royal Mile, yet away from the crowds.

I’m not lying when I tell you I was the most nervous about my reservation at the hotel because of all the previous reviews. However, I gave it a chance and I didn’t have any of the problems mentioned before, no bed bugs, no problems closing the door and water temperature was great. I booked a double room and it was pretty big, had plenty of storage space, a comfortable bed and warm blankets. Besides, the location is perfect, you can take the coach outside the door and get to the city center in less than 15 minutes. Overall I thank the staff for my great experience and I would definitely recommend you give it a try.
