Staff need to be briefed properly when staffing events here.. we went to the Bon jovi concert on the Sunday and every member of staff we asked for help had no idea or could help us.. very poor.. even more so when we approached one member of to notify her of a young lad passed out outside the arena to her reply was I’m finished and no longer on duty, which I think is not acceptable Also my bag was barely looked in and neither of us were checked over before coming in
Don’t go to this place for a concert, they might be great at rugby but there’s a lot to be desired about them hosting a music event, some of the staff obviously hadn’t been briefed very well and it showed, also getting away from the event by taxi took over 2 hours which by any standards is shocking, we pre booked a taxi from the hotel and the taxi firm cancelled it which left us stranded with everyone else and when you’ve already been stood up for about 6 hours at an event it’s the last thing you need
A very good concert venue but be prepared to pay usual silly prices for food & drink. Allow extra time if driving as traffic from M6 very busy. Taxi organisation following the event was outstandingly organised.
Great venue with everything you need available - if booking a taxi to pick you up arrange to meet by the island on the way in, traffic gets very congested and our taxi refused to drive into the parking/pickup areas!
Great venue, poor transport service leaving the gig. 3 hour wait for a Taxi, we were advised to 2ait in Tesco's car park for the taxi rank. About 500 people in 2 queues, eventually got a taxi at 1.30 am. The Rolling Stones gig finished at 22.30. A BIG anti-climax to a fantastic gig.
