Excellent breakfast with a complete spread of American and Continental options, really spoilt for choice. Very polite and professional service from all staff - in the bar, restaurant, front desk and housekeeping. Great location, close to the Southsea beach and Clarence Pier, and walking distance to other tourist attractions, restaurants and shops. Well-lit and expansive seating area downstairs near the foyer set up with numerous wall powerpoints; this made it convenient to come out of the hotel room and sit downstairs to work comfortably in nice surrounds with computer and accessories plugged in. Appreciated this as we stayed there for 7 nights during which I had to complete some work as well. Clean room, comfortable bed, and good in-room facilities. All up, an enjoyable stay and would definitely choose it again.

Rahul and his mum were very welcoming and attentive. The large king size bed was glorious. Home made yoghurt in the morning with breakfast was delicious. Walking distance to port and station.

Stayed one night and it was spot on. Location's mint, right by the seafront. Room was clean, bed was lush, and staff were lovely. Would definitely come back. Top stuff!

I was given a free room upgrade and my room was very pleasant. The breakfast was good too, and the location could not be better for visiting Portsmouth as a tourist.

The team went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. We were staying as a family to attend a wedding and the location was ideal. The bar and restaurant were a bonus!

It was so so lovely, oh my! We got the room Graceful and it was just what we needed, it really was amazing. It was quiet, cozy and so great! Unfortunately we missed out on the breakfast as the night before was a bit too crazy, but the lady let us have some packed lunch as in abreakfast bar, muffin, bottled waters and even an actimel! She was so sweet my heart warmed up..really lovely, i'll be coming back!

Returned after a 1 year break & glad to find rooms were improved & no hot water problems this time. Good location & plenty of parking.
