The room was very comfortable and spacious. The satff was very helpful. The location of the hotel near the meadows and a short walk to the Royal Mile was excellent. Lots of shops, cafes and restaurants nearby. The breakfast buffet offered a wide selection.. We didn't want to leave...

Chalmers Street is a splendid location for exploring nearby fringe festival venues while also escaping the crowds in the meadows park alongside. The student room with shared kitchen is perfect for solo travel. The staff were kind, professional and helpful. Cafes, restaurants, convenience stores and buses are all a hop and jump away.

Conveniently located next to The Meadows, a beautiful park in Edinburgh. It’s in a quiet student area near the university. The city centre is about a 20-minute walk away, and from the window you can see the castle. The hotel was clean and has a sauna and swimming pool. Very happy with my stay.

Very good location near the meadows park, especially recommend for families with kids. Very spacious, beds are comfortable, bedding and towels are clean and crisp, view out the windows lovely. I would definitely recommend for families traveling edinburgh. I actually booked one airbnb nearby but the host canceled it the night before so I was totally in panic but luckily I found this and am glad I did. The airbnb turned out to be poorly managed per reviews that I later found out. This property 's host was very kind and responsive.

This was exactly the space we needed after venturing out to Arthur's Seat and the castle. The location is great, not too far from the action but also not stuck in with the crowds nearer the Mile. We discovered The Meadows park and the university just a block or so west, which made for a lovely walk up to the castle. Inside the flat, everything was clean and in good shape. It was really convenient having a fully functional kitchen too.

The location is great, right next to the Meadows and the University campus, with the city centre just a short walk away. The reception staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room is basic but has all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was very comfy too. The place does not offer breakfast but there are several nice coffee shops in the neighbourhood. Overall, a very good price-quality ratio!
