We were traveling before the high season started and did not realized the bus from naxos is not going all the way to orkos beach (last stop was plaka beach). Anyway the reception guys from the hotel were so helpful and came for us to give us a lift. I can't describe how much they helped us as we were with child and it was getting late already. Thank you! The room was really nice, it had great and spacious shower. Even with extra bed for our son there was a place to move around the room, there was couch and small table and nice terrace to sit. Unfortunately there was no shade in there to really enjoy sitting there. The breakfast was pretty standard continental and there was fresh orange juice every morning. If we're coming back to naxos, definitely orkos Beach hotel. Really good value for the money. And I would almost forget, the beach is just across the road and for us it was the best one out of three we tried. :)

This is a boutique hotel which perfectly met our needs and expectations. We alway got a personal attention with any request we had and the staff (Chris and Yannis) were super friendly and helpful. The place is very close to Mikri Vigla beach for those who are surfing :-)

Beach is beautiful. Sunset is amazing. Plaka is a very, very long beach. We didn't have a car but if we were to stay longer we would definitely rent a car and explore more of Plaka and other beaches and towns on the Island.

Everything about this hotel is perfect. The location is ideal walkable to so many restaurants and about 50 feet from the beach. Beach chairs and umbrellas and beach towels and a beach bag are provided as well as beach service. All the food at breakfast is homemade and different every day. Betty and her son John could not be more pleasant and helpful. It is a 10 minute taxi ride to the Chara, which is also lovely, but Plaka Beach is magical

This hotel is directly across the street from Plaka Beach and next to the resturant Nikos & Maria resturant, which was great! Loved that the property offered umbrellas and lounge chaises to those staying in the hotel for free. The hotel staff were super kind and incredibly helpful.

It was exactly what I wanted: a relaxing spot away from the higher traffic areas. It was 8 minutes by car from all the restaurants and shops in Agia and 4 minutes from Plaka beach. The pool was amazing, and to get to the beach where the water was perfect, all you had to do was cross a dirt road and a very, very short walk to the cabanas, about 50 - 100 feet. Everything was amazing, I didn't spend too much time at the hotel because I was out and about.

The apartment was lovely! Very spacious, very clean. We loved the hot tub as well. The hotel had a great shared pool and because it’s only shared with a couple of other apartments there was always space. A lovely quiet location as well, about a 15 min walk from Plaka beach (although further out from the town). But there was a bus that took us to the town in 20 mins which was great!

Such a gem in Naxos!! Staying at Ploes was a quintessential beach getaway: the apartments are just a few minutes away from Plaka Beach and nearby seaside restaurants, it was lovely to be out on the patio in the morning enjoying the sea view. The bedrooms are cozy and nicely designed, and our host was gracious enough to offer a ride from the airport and provide a list of sites and restaurants to visit around the island. He was so responsive as questions came up throughout the trip. Thank you!! We're excited to visit again!

Golden Sand Hotel is excellent. The staff was very kind and thoughtful. The breakfast was wonderful, beds were comfortable, pool and sunbeds were great. Plaka Beach is a few steps away, clear water and soft sand for miles. Dirt road along the beach has many restaurants and small markets. Highly recommend. We extended to 8 nights.
