Krk Cathedral
Krk’s Cathedral of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary dates back to the 5th or 6th century – although excavations suggest it was the site of Christian worship for at least a hundred years before that. Historic in more ways than one, the three-nave basilica also conceals a set of 1st century Roman baths, which were discovered during archaeological excavations.
