Best Arena venue I've been in. Very well organised queuing system to go in, and well marshaled ques for the Luas coming out. Views of stage seem good from any angle. And the show kept to the advertised time.
30 min walk from the centre along the river. Easy to get to, Plenty of food and drink outlets inside. Shaped in arc around the stage so no trouble seeing the act + screens. Queues at toilets but only the same as any other venue. For the women able to take larger handbags in the venue subject to search. Seats were comfy if you fancied a sit down.
I was here on Saturday 13th April at Shawn Mendes concert with my 15 year old daughter who is a wheelchair user. The staff at the event were first class and done everything to help us before and after the event I couldn’t say a bad word about that but the disabled seating area was disgraceful and definitely needs attention. As in every concert people stand up and that’s ok I’ve no problem with that but it meant then that my daughter could not see the stage and had to watch the concert on the screen. The wheelchair area needs to be on a higher platform from the row in front in order for wheelchair bound customers to at least get a glimpse of what was happening on stage.
Very efficient, friendly bar staff, good line of sight to stage from pretty much everywhere. However, make sure you know which part of the arena your entrance is on. We walked along the river bank and the entrances weren’t signposted at all.
Awful arena for a concert. Sold too many tickets and ended up pushed to the back by the bar. This meant that we couldn’t hear the band! Very annoyed and disappointed as we travelled from Wales to see the band!
I traveled from US to see U2. Such disappointment in this venue. My seats were directly behind a large screen that the band/show uses that completely blocked my view of the band. The only band member that I could see was Adam Clayton. I spent a lot of money on this concert a d trip only to ne totally disappointed in the concert. U2 should be ashamed to have tickets in this location. I would like my momey back.
The hotel is very trendy and modern, with really nice decor and art along the walls. Liked that the location of the hotel was so close to 3Arena. The sauna and the pool were very nice especially the pool as it was warm, a mini gym on the property if you needed to use it with a decent amount of equipment and weights for use. The room was cosy enough and the shower itself was really good too. The food in the rooftop place Rayleighs was amazing for breakfast with a nice view of the Dublin docklands and Poolbeg lighthouse in the distance.
The Gibson Hotel is our first choice when we attend concerts at the 3Arena. It's a perfect location and it's a luxurious hotel, with beautiful rooms, lovely staff and great food. I would highly recommend this hotel.
Stayed here loads before Covid... Very central for 3Arena Bord Gáis etc The hotel is thankfully not noisey which suits.... Bath/shower facilities great.. Asked for extra tea bags no hassle getting them
The location is very central walking distance to the city centre or to the 3Arena if your heading to a gig! Staff are super friendly and helpful as well.
The breakfast was great as were the facilities but the location was a little out the way from the 3Arena so my feet still hurt
