Animals look well cared for and the grounds clean. If you come in from the Phoenix Park entrance be prepared for a long walk to zoo entrance. There are also plenty of refreshment areas. The main one being Meercat Cafe
Great for kids bring packed lunch/snacks as restaurant is expensive....although not as expensive as the gift shop turned out to be 😂!unfair purchasing and annual pass doesn’t get you a discount in there 🤷♀️
If u pay online you get it cheaper and avoid the q. No parking in the zoo but right at the back there is a free carpark! No restaurants were open but there was a small costa coffee inside (a proper one not the express) a building which also had a microwave!
Awesome zoo. And in November they do the light show which is worth going to. Baby monkeys and friendly penguins. Watch out though for the stork who will steal your burger in the seated area 😂staff replaced ours though. Beautiful zoo with happy animals. 10/10
love Dublin zoo, it's all fairly flat to walk round, the planting and surroundings really enhance the experience and the animal areas provide a more natural and stimulating habitat for the animals living there
Great but the little ones are exhausted by the time you make it to the end its really upgraded throughout the year and all the animals look really well looked after. Bring sunscreen if its hot because your outside all day and you wouldn't notice yourself being roasted.
