They gave us an upgrade without even asking which was phenomenal and came with an amazing view. The feel of true hotel is so unique and historical which added to the feel of staying in a city so old. The staff was very kind and very responsive which was helpful when we needed an extended checkout. The room was nice and large.

Well the most notable aspect of the hotel was it's owner, Sara. I wish there was a "Sara" at all hotels. She was always smiling, helpful, warm & knowledgeable. She helped us to secure tickets to the Paleo race and dinner at a wonderful restaurant. We had a 2 night reservation but ended up staying 5!! Sienna is a gem worth spending the time to explore. The room was clean, comfortable & had what we needed to have a perfect experience in Sienna.

Let me tell you something. If I had only stayed in this hotel in the heart of Siena for the three days we were there I would have enjoyed sienna so much because this hotel is right in the heart of it. It has more beautiful decks and open spaces to relax and hang out and play the board games or read the books that they have available. They have free coffee and tea and everything is so well appointed, this space is not to be missed. You will not be disappointed. Again if I had just stayed in the hotel for three days, I would’ve had the time of my life, it is impossible to explain. we did the shared bathroom option which worked out just fine and there were never anybody else in there so a number of the rooms also have their own private bathroom.
