Very good location and a great nice hotel .

For this price, the location far exceeded my expectations. All major downtown sights and shops are within walking distance. The staff were incredibly welcoming; they recommended a local supermarket favored by residents, and arranged a late check-out tailored to our departure train schedule. Crowds of tourists in the city center are to be expected, yet we fell asleep each night to the sound of street guitar performers playing downstairs, which was absolutely lovely. The only minor downside is the lack of air conditioning. The room itself is wonderfully spacious with high ceilings, just like staying inside a Renaissance painter’s quarters. It is perfectly suitable for families. I would wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone visiting Florence.
