I originally planned to book a room on Airbnb, but didn’t get a reply for my last-minute reservation. So I decided to book a two-night stay at a hostel on Booking.com and chose Viajero Hostel. Little did I know, I would end up staying here for 10 nights straight. The staff here are incredibly friendly and have given me so much help. The beds are super comfortable, and both the rooms and common areas are spotlessly clean. The kitchen, which allows guests to cook their own meals, is a total lifesaver for us Chinese travelers craving home-style Chinese food. The location is unbeatable too—it’s right in the city center, just a stone’s throw away from the subway station. Best of all, my roommates were mostly quiet and respectful, never disturbing anyone else. This hostel is absolutely perfect. I want to give a special shout-out to Yair. When I switched from a mixed dorm to a female-only dorm, he helped me find a private, ultra-quiet and cozy bed in the backyard. Those days were some of the most pleasant during my stay—you are really so nice! Every time we ran into each other, your genuine smile never failed to brighten my day. Huge thanks also go to Zoe. My first day here happened to be my birthday according to my ID card, and she was kind enough to wish me a happy birthday.
