The place is really nice. Wonderful location, excellent staff, very good breakfast included (which was highly appreciated). The restaurant is very good. Highly recommended overall.

We liked everything, beautiful rooms, comfortable beds and pillows, delicious breakfast. I also want to note the little things like delicious sweets on the bed, a book about Ameland, and a gift of liquor upon check-out.

Bath was incredibly and room very comfortable. Location close to restaurants. The 2 shower heads were nice.

Everything was excellent! The room was very clean, comfortable, and well prepared. The bed was really cozy and we slept very well. Breakfast was delicious with a great variety of fresh options. Overall, a wonderful stay with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We would definitely come back!

Clean big room, balcony and bathroom. Very comfortable bed and great breakfast with big choice of food, I could evrn get lactose free milk (on demand).

The room was stylishly decorated, spacious and had a very comfortable and clean bed. Jacuzzi in the room was a cherry on the top. Perfect for our romantic weekend away!

Absolutely delighted with our room (especially as we got an upgrade) on our return to this beautiful hotel and we wouldn't stay anywhere else if we come back to Ameland. Everything both super modern and really cosy. Reception super helpful and staff endlessly kind even at this very busy time. Coffee, tea and biscuits available at no extra charge in a part of the restaurant you can use as a lounge all day (we got into a routine of going for a wet/rainy bike ride, having a bath, then playing a board game in this nice communal space).

Virtually in the centre of NES but unbelievably quiet in a cul-de-sac. Large airy room with full- length balcony and great bathroom

Another stay in the Strandhotel Buren another top stay. We have been several times here, and every time we enjoy it as much. This time on top, we did stay in the suite which was newly renovated. Whole room was smelling like a wood. Amazing. Full equipment kitchen. Lovely breakfast. There is not 1 thing I can complain about We will definitely come back.

Historic street, good restaurant / bar below. Balcony for morning coffee. Dogs are allowed.

The quirkiness of the accommodation and attached restaurant, we had a great stay. Very comfortable bed. The staff were brilliant.

Excellent B&B in a small and quiet village. Great room in a very tastefully renovated building. Lovely common garden. Large and well-tasting breakfast. Very friendly host. There are no restaurants in the village, but buy a salat or a sandwich before you arrive and enjoy a peaceful evening with a light meal and a glass of wine in the garden :-)

Everything was just right, both breakfast and evening meals were superb.
