The history of the hotel, the breakfast is superb, parking is good, the rooms are comfortable and well maintained by the housekeeping. The location is excellent for shops, bars and restaurants within walking distance. Loads of attractions and really friendly people who provide great service in around the town. We happen to stumble across their 5 day carnival and had a super time watching the festivities. Valkenburg is a great place to stay and to visit.

It is a good hotel with a great location and staff is attentive and friendly. Our room was large. The breakfast is amazing with a lot of options.

Great location. In the historical centre but not on the Main Street so the apartment was nice and quiet. Beautiful view from the top room of the castle - very special! The hotel has a lovely aesthetic and design which clearly a lot of thought and effort went into it. Everything was very clean! It is a staff-less hotel. We found it very easy and communication from the owner is very clear. You need your phone (a website) to open the doors.

It was a great stay! Right in the city centre, close to restaurants and main attractions. The breakfast was amazing! Best scrambled eggs we have had in a hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would stay here again!

We had an excellent time at Valkenhof, the accommodation is at a top location, everything is closeby, the hotel is super clean, even tho it’s at a busy spot the windows provide great quality of sleep cause they block almost all noise. The staff is very friendly, rooms are very nice, the AC saved our stay cause as always mid June is warm at Limburg. Highly recommended and we will sure be back!

It is a wonderful location right in the centre, and if you're lucky (like me) you'll get a balcony with a direct view over the canal. The staff is very kind and quick to give some personal recommendations and quick to engage in small talk.

The perfect stay in this amazing Christmas town! The staff are outstanding and go out of their way to make your stay as good as possible. The location is excellent and parking is just across the road. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable with large, comfy beds. The bar has a super selection of beers and delicious snacks. It’s also tight on the route of the parade, a huge bonus. We look forward to a return visit! Thank you for a brilliant stay!

The staff made our stay wonderful, nothing was too much hassle, the location was ideal for exploring the Christmas markets and is exactly where you need to be when visiting Valkenburg, the room was immaculate and the breakfast had a great selection, parking is available, we will definitely be back again! Excellent location! Fabulous hotel with great breakfast

The hotel was right next to the Castle steps in the centre of Volkenburg, a very pretty place which was full of Christmas cheer. Our host, Gordon, was on hand to welcome us and went out of his way to ensure our needs were met. The hotel was very clean and tea/ coffee making facilities were provided. Although breakfast was not available the restaurant was open for drinks and meals most days until late evening. The hotel is surrounded by lots of eateries to accommodate different tastes and we enjoyed a lovely breakfast at the Ups and Downs Cafe. The hotel had a charming ambiance and although the rooms weren’t massive in size, they were very comfortable and the bedding was pristine. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel and loved the whole area. We particularly enjoyed our visit to the caves where a thriving Christmas market was housed. We would certainly recommend a visit here and we would love to return one day.

The room was really good, just like the pictures. Recently renovated so everything was new. Bed very comfortable. Location superb.. on the main road next to the caves, and not noisy. No free parking in Valkenburg, so parking right across the hotel was nice, for 12 euros/day (plus some tax). The instruction for the staff less check-in were very clear. Just be aware that an app has to be downloaded in order to do the check-in.

Very friendly staff, went out of their way when we had problems finding the hotel (roads closed/diverted traffic due to Christmas Market). Breakfast was good, location ideal.

We absolutely loved everything and would highly reccomend them to anyone visiting Valkenburg!
