Great classic outdoor fun park. Right on the waters edge, sunset time is my fav time to be there, spend the morning at the modern art or photographic museum, the afternoon at Skansen (the culture heritage park) walk down to Gronalund for the late afternoon evening. Check their website for events in case its closed for a concert, then buy an all in ticket and have fun all evening. Be aware it is closed over the winter, except for certain dates.
Ikarus and Fritt Fall are amazing, breathtaking! But the best was Insane. The most scary attraction ever! My husband and I adore it) Visit their site if traveling with kids - there is info on each attraction like what is the minimum kid height. Check the photos some of attractions make - it's very nice and great memory. Concerts often held in the evening, so if you buy ticket before a specified time (it's 5 or 6 pm I think) - you'll have a chance to visit a concert for free( with the park ticket of cource).
Paid a hefty entrance fee then queued for an age to go on a ride only to be told we hadn’t got the right tickets. Information was poor and we felt it a rip off to have to pay for all the individual rides on top of entrance fee.
This is a full-on park for thrill seekers only. My wife and I were quite content watching the “terror” of others 😊👍. It is worth doing some research on the Internet to make sure that you are aware of the thrills that await you.🎢
The day pass for rides can work out cheaper than buying tokens for rides as there will always be one ride you'll want to go on again. The price for the day pass reduces after 5.30pm which is no great loss considering the park stays open until 10pm.
The eclipse, Katapulten, Twister, Jetline were awesome! But you have to try Ikaros, itbwas insane!!! I recommend not to go to Pop-expressen if you have had all the stations that make you dizzy already. I had that one as the last and I was out nauseous for half a day.
