The staff were amazing, truly exceptional. I walked up to reception to ask for help with the water heater (it wasn't working), and by the time I returned to the room a few minutes later, there was a mechanic there, already fixing it. When deciding which villa to put us in, they also made sure we got one where the trees didn't block the view. Also, on checkout day, when they saw me lugging the first of many suitcases up to the car park, they sent someone down to help my wife, so she didn't have to carry anything up the stairs. There are two villas on the property which is a Thai BBQ restaurant. The villas are really nicely decorated and the best is the huge outdoor kitchen which invites for staying much longer. The breakfast served by the staff at the villa is enormous satisfying Thai and Western palate. We could never finish all. Due to the location, somewhat outside Sangkhlaburi, there was no light pollution and we could unpack our telescope and observe the moon!
