First off the staff is probably the best i have ever interacted with. They make you feel like you are their only concern and they are there to take care of you. They were all very genuine and sincere, and we found that to be very refreshing. As i told the front desk yesterday before checking out, this was th first time in my life that i wanted to write a thank you note to a hotel for their service, it totally made our short stay very memorable.
The property is located right on the Riverwalk close to restaurants, and the boat ride. The hotel offers great Spa services, and if you are a guest, use of the saunas and jacuzzi are included in your stay. The Spa area is segregated, ladies and gentlemen have beautiful locker areas with courtesy robes and spa sandals, towels and iced lemon water. We never made it up to the roof to view the pool.
We had made dinner reservations and the hotel as a courtesy, drove us to our restaurant, but after a great dinner we made the 8 minute walk back to the hotel. Upon returning to our room, we found that our bed had been straightened up and there was a small platter with great fresh fruit for an evening snack. The room is very well stocked with snacks and beverages, alcohol and non alcohol. If you like wonderful coffee in the morning they have that taken care of with a nice variety of Nespresso and tea. I loved that they have glass expresso cups and stainless spoons, no plastic. Even the glasses in the bathroom were glass.
The bathroom is appointed nicely, with a large shower and a jetted tub. The towels are large and thick, the soap and lotion is Nest, very high quality products.
Overall, don't pass up the chance to stay at this beautiful hotel, it is a very warm and wonderful experience!!

River Walk
Under the streets of central San Antonio, this riverside walkway is a city centerpiece. The River Walk connects local landmarks through a network of waterside paths, just one level below the traffic. Shops, bars, and restaurants draw crowds all year, and during annual festivals the water fills up with colorful lights and flowery floats.

Do not leave town without going to the Riverwalk.
Do not leave town without going to the Riverwalk. It's much cooler lower than street level. Visit night after Thanksgiving to see all the super tall trees filled with Holiday lights, ride the River boats, catch a river parade, etc. Generally, it's not cold in Fall or Winter until December. Also, Fiesta is a great time to visit! Watch PBS on demand to see Joseph Rosendo's 2 trips to San Antonio!

Boat tours cost money but will let you see more without walking as much. Moat of the restaurants/bars are pricey, but mice and several are unique. Anywhere you park in the city is going to cost you. The Riverfront mall has a parking garage with options based on time and can be a better deal depending on where you are going. Most parking areas are not cast, they are pay by phone.

Head towards the "Museum Reach" area of the River Walk to The Pearl. There are lots of good restaurants there and shopping. Past The Pearl you will find the Witte Museum and the Smoke Shack. Both are worth your time. A good place to eat along the River Walk is Ocho and Tre Trattoria (which is attached to the San Antonio Art Museum).

the River Walk is great - but crowded.
the River Walk is great - but crowded. If you go in the summer, prepare to sweat profusely. Besides being hot, it is also so humid you'll feel like you just got out of a shower. Also, if you are drinking, remember there are very few guard rails along the river walk, so be careful not to get too tipsy and fall in!

Location was outstanding. Direct access from the hotel to the River Walk was really a perk. Staff was excellent. Edith Sotelo was beyond wonderful. We have stayed at five Alaska resorts and four stateside hotels on the last month. Edith was the top hostess we encountered. She is the kind, relational person that customers seek. I suggest you reward this top professional.
our room was located on the 9th floor with a beautiful view over the river walk. The hotel don't have parking but they do offer valet parking. What we liked the most was that this hotel is in the middle of everything. We did not use our car for anything else. Restaurants, shop and attractions were only a few blocks from the hotel.
Hotel was very nice right on the river walk. Only issue there was no hot water. Told the front desk after day 3 no hot water they changed our room it was somewhat better they did comp us the valet parking which was very nice.
Convenient, nice customer service, and it’s quiet. They had a fridge, iron and fan. Air condition was great. Very close to the river walk. I love the old classic feel of the hotel and the room was clean. You could eat outside in a common room or play cards and enjoy your stay at the hotel.
The location of the hotel is beyond expectations. You can go down from the hotel itself directly to the River Walk. Close to every attraction in the area. You can walk to Almo. There are breakfast restaurants and grocery stores nearby. Bell Boys were very kind and would help with directions and questions about places nearby, which the reception people did not know or wanted to answer.
Very cute hotel, location was ideal to walk to The Alamo, River Walk and other DownTown attractions. Modern and a bit minimalist, which was nice. Unfortunately we didn't take advantage of the breakfast that was included, but the pool was amazing since it's so HOT in San Antonio and it came in handy after venturing out during the day. Staff was nice and attentive to our requests. A/C works amazing in the room.
This hotel was awesome it's near everything you can walk one mile either way and do anything you want the mall's next door the river walks half a mile Foods right around the corner she's one great Hotel
I loved the fact that we were right next to the river walk. Everything that we needed was at walking distance. I come the RGV where we have to drive to every single destination so it was a nice change for once. I would book at this hotel again if I were to ever make another trip to San Antonio. The staff was always friendly and helpful. I'm so glad y'all had your own parking garage as well.
