Went to the Top of the World Restaurant my Birthday. Excellent food and service. Spectacular views of the City and the Strip. Complimentary access to the viewing deck and the indoor bar and lounge with restaurant booking.
I stayed in Stratosphere for more than 1 week with 4 people. When I booked in Booking it was FREE Internet (no restrictions) but the internet is POOR (restrict to 2Mb and for 3 devices) and in some days, even in Cassino the internet was not working. I came here to work. How can I work with 2mb and limited devices? I asked the girl at Registration desk and she said: Nothing I can do, Sr. If I could, I'd like to cancel here and go to another Hotel
Horrible experience. The corridor and room stank of smoke so bad. The line to ride the elevator was ridiculous! We bought combo tickets for the rides but didn’t get to use them because we werent told of the time restraints at purchase and by the time we were able to get to the top it was too late. No refunds though. Weren’t able to get tables at places we wanted to eat. Finally found someplace open and stil had to wait forever for a table
Pay the price to Dine at the Top of The World Restaurant on floor 104 at 7:30. You need to reserve. Arrive an hour early and ask for a table on the rim (you cannot reserve this) Half price drinks in cocktail lounge (4.00-7:00pm) take wine (say a glass of white & a glass of red each. The bar staff will put them in small caraffes and carry them down to your table).
If you can deal with heights then the rides they have outside hanging over the building you will like. I shocked my co-workers they did not believe I went on one of the rides till I showed them a picture. I am somewhat of a trill seeker.
Rude customer service , weird unfinished room not very clean.Very crowded and the lobby is "too casino", long lines for everything. And don't be fooled you have to pay to go on the roof top even if you're staying there just to see the rides and then each ride is an additional fee (that is to be expected). The surrounding buildings outside the Statosphere look abundant, and run down and unsafe.
The only thing we liked was the view to the Stratosphere tower, so the kids could watch people jumping down from our room in the 24th floor. Also the Strat-Café has very good meals for reasonable prices. Except for front desk and check in personal everyone was friendly and professional. The classic grand suite was huge. After some issue with our room we had a regular room in 24th floor, which had a rather good view and normally has a rather good price.
Everyone of the staff was always kind and helpful. The bathroom was very clean and I felt safe. The view from the 14th floor on the north tower was amazing, you can see Stratosphere tower.
We ate at Gilly's, Yolo's (Planet Hollywood), Red Rock Casino Buffet, Stratosphere Buffet, Roxy's (Stratosphere), Ocean One Bar and Grille (Miracle Mile Shops)
