This is the perfect place to unwind, relax and escape from the world. You're staying right on the beach with the most epic sunsets you can watch from your bed in a chalet and just fall asleep to the waves. Literally some of the best nights sleep we had in a long time. Romeo the owner was so kind and welcoming, he made us feel safe and provided wonderful service while we were there. The breakfast and dinner were both so good, cheap seafood and some of the best we've had in Asia! (been travelling for 4 years) Prices are really good too for what you get. Would 100% recommend this place to anyone who likes the quiet beach life away from everything.

Best location surrounded by nature! Majutusasutus paikneb 100 meetri pikkusel mäel, kust avaneb vaade Kinabatangani metsakaitsealale. Last Frontier Boutique Resort asub Bilitis, kaunist Sandakani tänavast 2-tunnise autosõidu kaugusel. I cannot rate this place highly enough. Firstly the staff were the nicest bunch of people, who genuinely care that the guests have a great trip, and are passionate about the environment and the wildlife. Secondly, this is the only place in the area actually inside the jungle, rather than on the river. And that matters because you're much more likely to see an Orang utan in the wild staying here. We were lucky enough to see one, and the guys running the place were overjoyed for us. It was a truly breathtaking moment. And we saw monitor lizards and Hornbills causally wandering/ flying around. The guys running the place could not do enough for us. Also the food was great, and included. Travel is quite a hobby for me, I have been travelling the world regularly for over 30 years now and I have stayed in a lot of places, from luxury hotels to eco-resorts etc. This rates as high as any experience I have had anywhere. I wish there were more places run this well and with this much passion in the world.

The rooms are ok, but really in the middle of the jungle and just in front of the river The best part about the place is Lynda, she is like a living documentary she just wanted to show us all the animals in there and we saw them, Rhyno hornbill, elephants, crocodile and basically all the kind of monkeys we could see, just an amazing experience with her being the best guide possible The food was really good too and also the experiences out of the normal package I really recommend the night cruise, is something amazing being in that river in a small boat at night Loved it! Beautiful resort and great value for money. Large, comfy beds and clean bathrooms. Food is of good standard, and location is amazing, being in-between the RDC and Orangutan and Sunbear Sanctuaries (as long as you are happy being in the middle of nowhere). Good wifi connection and signal, and amazing staff members
