Hawun Valley Kiulu oferece banheira de hidromassagem e acomodação com ar-condicionado em Tamparuli. Didn’t expect the room come with little pantry with ricecooker, water kettle, and stove to cook. Plates, cups and utensil for cooking also provided. But they only allow Halal food ya. There is fridge also. Room is very clean and love the sweet pink color room😆 pool is not too deep and have lovely warm temperature. This place is well maintain.

We had hut next to the sea. The food was excellent and was prepered according to our requests (2 persons are vegetarians and 2 person sea food lovers).

Situado no topo de uma colina de 100 metros com vista para a Reserva Florestal Kinabatangan, o The Last Frontier Boutique Resort está localizado em Bilit, a 2 horas de carro da bela Sandakan. I had high expectations of the Last Frontier, and somehow it exceeded them. We were looked after from start to finish by the very impressive Jason - we learned so much from him about the area, and Malaysia in general, and he was extremely thoughtful about everybody's needs. We went on three boat rides and a hike. Ryan, our guide, was very knowledgeable and could identify animals from just a quick glance (he's quiet at first but if you ask him questions you'll learn a lot). We felt completely safe with him and spotted four of the "Borneo Big 5", despite the rainy season, as well as many other animals. The morning cruise costs a bit extra (95 MYR per person at the time of writing) but was totally worth it for another chance to see the animals - on ours we saw orangutans and rhinoceros hornbills, although of course nothing is guaranteed. The lodge itself is very comfortable with big beds and hot showers - the only thing missing is mosquito nets (there are screens on the windows but a few still get in). If you're worried about other creepy crawlies entering the room, we didn't see any. The restaurant on the other hand is open at the sides so when the lights come on in the evening it's full of life - you'll see moths and bats flying through (but don't worry, they're not interested in you). The food was delicious - while breakfasts were western style, we were served classic Malaysian dishes for dinner. Meals are set - there is no menu to choose from - but they were extremely thoughtful about dietary needs, so let them know in advance (vegans and people with allergies are well catered for here). And while there is no wifi, we had data connection with both Celcom and Maxis at least some of the time. This is a special place where you'll get a more intimate experience of nature than at the bigger lodges. We loved our stay and whole-heartedly recommend it.

Borneo Jungle Adventure fica em Kinabatangan, Província de Sabah, e oferece acomodações com Wi-Fi grátis e estacionamento privativo grátis. For the middle of the jungle, they have a great setup for all you need. The meals were fantastic and the staff super friendly. We were so lucky to see the Borneo 5 and the highlight was some orangutans and a herd of 50+ Pygmy Elephants. A wonderful trip. Mark our tour guide was fantastic.

Borneo Sepilok Rainforest Resort fica em Sepilok, Província de Sabah, e oferece acomodações com estacionamento privativo grátis e acesso a uma banheira de hidromassagem. Really amazing place to stay near all of the sights in Sepilok. I chose to walk everywhere and it seemed to be in a pretty central location. Food was tasty and staff was friendly.

Com vista para o mar, Maglami-lami Water House conta com acomodação e restaurante em Semporna. Há um banheiro privativo com bidê e produtos de banho de cortesia em cada unidade, além de chinelos. We had an amazing stay at maglami, the location and facilities are just amazing and not turistic at all. The staff is really kind and helpful, the food is good and the vibe with the other is simply magic!

Tampat do Aman fica em Kudat e fornece Wi-Fi grátis, um jardim, um terraço e um restaurante. Howard was so passionate and informative, he went above and beyond to make this a great stay for us. Nothing was too much trouble and his family were so welcoming and hospitable. The lodges are a great location in the jungle, but also a 25 minute walk to the beach. It's an interesting but also peaceful environment to spend a few days exploring the area. The beach walk recommend by Howard was amazing, it's like paradise!
