With a terrace and barbecue facilities, Borneo Jungle Adventure is situated in Kinabatangan and features free WiFi. There is a fully equipped private bathroom with shower and free toiletries. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Linda, our guide is a great host and made every effort to ensure we saw as much of the jungle wildlife as possible. She made us feel welcome from the first moment. This was a true jungle experience where it is only accessible by boat.

Situato a Bilit, a 2 ore di auto dalla splendida Sandakan, il Last Frontier Boutique Resort sorge in cima a una collina di 100 m affacciata sulla Riserva Forestale Kinabatangan. This place is really amazing. We searched a lot to choose the right package for Kinabatangan River and this was really the best choice. Such friendly and helpful staff, we felt so welcome. There are only a few rooms, no big tourism and that's why you feel so comfortable here. (Don't be put off by the stairs, they are easy to climb). Every dish was delicious (even vegetarian at my special request) and the banana pancakes with caramel sauce? OMG the best pancakes we've ever had! The river cruises were very relaxing and we saw all the animals (monkeys, crocodiles, hornbills, elephants). We even had an orangutan outside our room visible from our window! We had an unforgettable experience here. Thank you very much Gert and the team, you are doing an excellent job.

Situato a 16 km dal Monte Kota Kinabalu, il D' Limbai Cottage offre sistemazioni a Ranau. Tutte le sistemazioni sono dotate di balcone con vista sulle montagne. The room itself was clean and tidy. It had an amazing view !! We walked to and from town. Close to everything. Good workout walking up and down the driveway. The staff were very friendly and so helpful with any requests. Loved staying here. Would stay again

Situato a Sandakan, il Kinabatangan Wildlife Lodge offre la connessione WiFi gratuita, un ristorante e un bar. Room was clean, comfortable bed/linens and great aircon and fan for cooling options. Food was good, portions were huge and lots of veggies and fruit for lunch/dinner. Our boat guide Irfan was amazing at spotting animals and we were lucky to see the Borneo Big 5. The ladies running the lodge are all so lovely, highly recommend their hospitality. Bring lots of bug spray for the mozzies and don’t expect WiFi in your chalet - it’s the jungle!

Just living on the water. No sand, no bugs, just simple wooden floor and tourquise sea beneath your feet. And the staff is just one of a kind. If you need anything, they are there to assist you. But if you want your mind to chill, they just let you be. No small talk, no pretended kindness, no hustle. Perfection.

Circondato da una vegetazione lussureggiante, il Tampat do Aman sorge a Chiltiga Papan, a 30 km da Kudat. I was told of this place by a fellow traveller and I'm glad I listened to her. I loved that it felt like I was off the beaten track. Howard and his family made me feel so welcomed as soon as i arrived. He spent time with all guests each day having great chats. There's plenty of various types of accommodation. I stayed in the longhouse and it was fantastic. Howard is also highlighting the Rungus people (the local indigenous tribe) I loved that Howard is managing the place with an eco consciousness, starting with the compostable toilets! On one of the mornings I even participated in International Coastal Clean Up day along with all the locals at the local beach. I'm happy I stayed the 3 days. I definitely could've spent more time just doing not much but had to get back to catch my flight home.
