Situato lungo il fiume Mamori, il Dolphin Lodge offre attività di pesca, un ristorante in loco, una colazione a buffet e una reception aperta 24 ore su 24. La posizione incantevole, appena arrivi sei subito immerso dell'Amazzonia. Lo staff sempre disponibile e gentile molto preparato nel dare spiegazioni di ciò che vedrai durante i tour. Ovviamente stando nella foresta inevitabile che si possano trovare degli animaletti in stanza, ma a me è capitato solo 2 volte in 5 giorni che sono stata lì. Consiglio assolutamente questa struttura per un'esperienza indimenticabile.

I don’t think we could have had a better first experience in the Amazon. Favio, the owner and guide, is exceptional. He speaks Portuguese, English, and Spanish fluently and is extremely knowledgeable about the area. He is deeply committed to making sure you have as much contact with nature as possible and get the most out of what the region offers. While when booking, it may not be immediately clear how the tours/days work, everything is actually based on your arrival and departure times to the region. They coordinate pick-up and drop-off perfectly, wherever you are, and from there, Favio rearranges the activities so you always have something to do or see (so don’t expect tours to happen on the exact days listed). He will keep you busy from dawn to dusk and make sure the only time you spend back at the lodge is to sleep and eat—so if you are looking just to rest, this is not your place. The food is great, local, and abundant. Accommodations are simple and modest, not luxurious, because the focus is on the experience. If luxury is what you want, this is not for you. But if you are seeking adventure, this place is amazing. We slept in the jungle, spent hours traveling by boat, and were constantly in awe of the surroundings. You may find tours to some of the same places or activities elsewhere, but having Favio truly makes the difference—he takes the time to help you appreciate what is around you, no rush if you are enjoying. He grew up in the area, and it is a pleasure to talk with him. The location also makes you feel fully immersed in the Amazon. If you want something fancy and quiet, look elsewhere. If you want to be amazed by nature and culture, this is it. thank you amigo I will be back for sure!

It was a very special place, with a very unique touch, love, and attention to the people that decide to stay there. The cabins are very clean, comfortable and have some unique features. But the most memorable thing about this place is the family that runs it. Washington showed us many places of the Amazons and shared interesting explanations of each place we visited, everything was beautiful! We are extremely grateful! Leni also took care of us by crafting unique and tasty Amazonian meal that reflect the indigenous culture of the area, everything had special attention to detail and of course their kids who spent time with us and made our stay even more special. I am super grateful to everyone and will definitely come back.

Very welcoming experience at the Arowana lodge. Variety of day trip tours to take lead by their English speaking guide Anderson. Family style lodge with meals and tours shared which was a great opportunity to meet new people. The AC in the rooms was great to have a reset from the heat. The journey to the lodge was long but it was so smooth and completely taken care of by the drivers along the way.

Pousada composta di palafitte immersa nella natura. Li ho contattati chiedendo se potevano farci fare qualche tour nella foresta Ammazzonica e sono stati super disponibili. Si sono occupati di tutto organizzando per noi tantissime esperienze tra cui: pesca dei piranha, safari su barca, passeggiata nella foresta, alba sul fiume, gita notturna sul fiume per vedere gli alligatori, notte nell'amaca dentro la foresta. Il personale ci ha coccolato per tutto il tempo, pronto a venirci incontro per qualsiasi necessità (ci hanno persino lavato i vestiti senza voler essere pagati). Il cibo che la cuoca ha cucinato per noi era sempre super delizioso! La guida Indios era incredibilmente preparata. Ci hanno anche affidato un traduttore per la lingua inglese. Prenotate senza indugio, per noi è stata un'esperienza magica.
