Skiing is possible within the area and the lodge offers ski storage space. The location of this hotel and the view from our room dazzled us. We thought we'd died and gone to heaven. It was helpful to have a car to get to it, as we did, but one could easily use a taxi or Uber from the train station (may be costly though). That's part of why it is so beautiful--it is a ways above the town, very quiet, with absolutely stunning views in all directions. We could not have been more charmed. The host and his wife are lovely. We did not use the breakfast option, so cannot comment on that. But we loved having a kitchen with fridge and dishes. We made our own meals, as did others.
