We had the absolute pleasure of staying at Black Rock to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. It was top notch from the get go and didn’t disappoint in anyway. Otto the owner certainly pays attention to detail. He met us promptly at the accommodation with a bottle of wine, fully stocked fridge and detailed explanation of how to operate appliances, sauna, etc. Everything was spotless and quality built, which made for a very comfortable stay. In addition, the location is spectacular. Nestled in a mountainside close to Zermatt and Montreux it makes for a perfect place to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city or launching pad for a day trip to the Matterhorn. Upon checkout Otto surprised my husband with a parting gift, an assortment of Swiss beer knowing he was a beer connoisseur. If your travels takes you this way you must stay here!

Hotel Europe is located in the village Zinal, amongst the Swiss Alps and 400 metres from the cable car. Set on 1675 metres above sea level, this hotel offers a hot tub and rooms with a balcony. Basically everything but the highlights were: The included access to the spa, the welcoming and kind receptionist who allowed us to use the facilities the next day even we have the possibility of the check out. The view of the mountains, nice restaurant, delicious breakfast. Comfy room and bed. Overall amazing value for money.

Hôtel Alpina - Swiss Ski & Bike Lodge Grimentz ligger i den fridfulla byn Grimentz i Wallisalperna, och erbjuder charmiga rum i fjällstil med balkong. Everything was great at Alpina! It was a very cozy hotel at a very reasonable price. Location was perfect and literally right across the street from the gondola and walking distance to the grocery store, ski stores, and other restaurants. Hotel and restaurant staff was wonderful (especially Summer), the spa was amazing, ski room was very convenient, view from the room was beautiful, and the food at the restaurant was very good. Also, no issues with noise - the walls seemed quite thick. The spa was a really great feature (and free!) - we would book the time we wanted to go the night before and it was the perfect way to wind down after skiing (steam room, sauna, hot tub, spa beds). We are very pleased with our experience staying here and will definitely be coming back if we plan to ski again in Switzerland. We have already been telling friends and family to come stay here! Thank you Summer and co. for being a wonderful hosts to us!!

This hotel in Ausserberg, on the southern slope of the Lötschberg mountain, offers you Alpine-style rooms and free Wi-Fi. automated check-in was simple and easy but I wish they bad instructions in english. it is a very simple hotel, by the train station and there are no shops or restaurants nearby. The rooms were very clean and the view was gorgeous.
