The moment we entered we knew we would never want to leave. In the middle of the jungle, surrounded by monkeys and a few steps away from the beach, a beautiful big cabin with everything we needed. Carlos the manager was great and even called us when a sloth came near the reception, the beach was fantastic, many restaurants nearby. It was a dream.

It was an amazing place in the jungle, yet close to the main road and Puerto Viejo. Breakfast was always fresh, with delicious smoothies and crepes. All the staff members and owners were super nice and showed us attention. The villa was well equipped, comfortable and very clean.

Everything! It was like we were in the jungle on our own, the houses are very well set out so you really feel like no one else is around. Walking through the jungle to the beach was also a great experience and our house seemed to come with a dog that showed us the way to the beach and then to the little town area which was so cute... of a night the howler monkeys were so noisy but what an experience!

Playa Negra Guesthouse is located in Cahuita, right in front of the beach. All units feature a seating area. Some units have a terrace and/or balcony with pool or garden views. Excellent location in Cahuita - beach right in front, restaurants nearby, cca 15 mins to the main road and centre, so still quiet but in reachable destination to all that you need in such a location. absolutely amazing garden - a national park itself :-) an enthusiastic owner that shows you all the animals and tells everything in a friendly tone. all the service from the owners was excellent, including recommended contacts for guides, rentals and transfer to San Jose - many thanks!

It was a pleasure meeting Mia and Gianluca and staying at their lovely place. Easy to find, just a minute walk from the beach, spacious and well maintained. Mia welcomed us with warmth and huge smile and showed us around. In the morning we enjoyed amazing home-made breakfast which we highly recommend! Thank you!

Beautiful gardens and bird life, great pool/ sitting area, bungalows are secluded from each other, lovely breakfasts and fantastic host in Rossy.
