Situé à Inari (Laponie finlandaise), l’établissement Aurora Husky Hut comprend un parking privé gratuit et un sauna. Une plaque de cuisson et une bouilloire sont également à votre disposition. It's truly in the middle of nowhere. There are just 3 cabins and a Sauna hut. Complete privacy, silence and beautiful trails to walk. One has to get the water from the hole in the frozen river few meters from the sauna. It's a bare bones wilderness cabin experience yet very cozy and comfortable. The staff is super friendly and answer all your questions. There is a wood fireplace in the cabin and the wood is provided. The huskies are nearby. They howl when the Aurora's are out.

Entouré par la nature et des sentiers de randonnée, le Vaattunki Wilderness Resort est situé à 24 km du centre-ville de Rovaniemi. Location was amazing, great friendly staffs and newly renovated cottage with great foods at restaurant for both dinner and breakfast.

Authentic cabin, you have entire unit for yourself. Newly furnished kitchenette is fully functional. Cozy sauna and a big fireplace. Drying cupboard is very useful. The hosts are super helpful and are ready to assist you during your stay. All essentials are there, everything that you may need. I loved their attention to details: there are spare batteries, nice pot to cook poronkäristys, and even cinnamon for rice porridge. Another aspect: we were happy we booked a final cleaning (and I recommend it to other guests), it saves you time and worries in the morning of check-out.

L’établissement Aava Riverside se trouve à 16 km de ce lieu d’intérêt : Arktikum (musée et centre scientifique). It is very cozy and well equipped. Very clean and looks very new. It felt somehow a bit like home. We would come back for sure!

It was very close to the Santa Claus Village and it was big enough for us, comfortable and easy, shower and toilet in the separate building were warm and very nice! I liked that the keeper Olli was very welcoming and hospitable and there for us when we needed him.

Everything was absolutely perfect. All of the facilities were excellent, and the location couldn't have been better, so peaceful. A stay everyone should experience.

L’établissement Ranua Haistila Retreat with Elegant Views & Sauna near Rovaniemi vous accueille à Ranua (Laponie finlandaise), à 16 km de ce lieu d’intérêt : Parc zoologique de Ranua. It was a PERFECT one week stay in this cottage. My son, my wife and me were there from January 1st to February 5th. It was a dream. Very elegant furnished house, a lot of snow, 3 bedrooms, big living room, well equipped kitchen, and a wooden stove. Yes - its in the middle of nowhere (okay - 20min until the next supermarket), but I slept like a STONE (no cars, no pigeons, nothing, just complete silence). We did several excursions, planned and booked by the owners (ask them!!), private Santa Meeting (not that commercial thing in Santa village), reindeer farm visit with a walk, etc. I can HIGHLY recommend this cottage. Would book it again every time - until next year (since we have no snow in Austria we need to go Lappland :))) Thank you SO much for hosting us - it was a pleasure :)
