Surrounded by nature and hiking trails, Vaattunki Wilderness Resort is located 24 km from Rovaniemi city centre. Great location, it’s in the forest with beautiful nature. But close to rovaniemi city center and Santa village (15 min drive). The food is good and staff very helpful. We had the shared bathroom/livingroom. But that was fine. Everything is clean and you don’t encounter the another people much because everyone has activities and at night they are at the main cabin (reception hut, where the buffet is).

Lodge 67°N Lapland is located in the centre of Äkäslompolo and at the foot of Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park. Free WiFi and parking are available. Excellent Property, Rooms, very helpful staff and lovely breakfast! :)

Newly furnished kitchenette is fully functional. Cozy sauna and a big fireplace. Drying cupboard is very useful. The hosts are super helpful and are ready to assist you during your stay. All essentials are there, everything that you may need. I loved their attention to details: there are spare batteries, nice pot to cook poronkäristys, and even cinnamon for rice porridge. Another aspect: we were happy we booked a final cleaning (and I recommend it to other guests), it saves you time and worries in the morning of check-out.

It was very close to the Santa Claus Village and it was big enough for us, comfortable and easy, shower and toilet in the separate building were warm and very nice! I liked that the keeper Olli was very welcoming and hospitable and there for us when we needed him.
