This Finnish Lapland property offers traditional cabins and a waterfront sauna next to Lake Inari. Guests can enjoy free WiFi, free parking and a beautiful setting surrounded by nature. WOW. What can I say? This was everything I’ve ever imagined and more. We couldn’t have picked a better place to stay in when we were in Inari. From waking up to the beautiful pink skies right above us and sleeping to the view of the aurora dancing over our heads, honestly it was so surreal. I loved that it was situation in a pretty remote area, it was so peaceful. If you’re here for the aurora, don’t even bother booking a tour because you will see it in the comforts of your cabin or you can just wait out my the lake and watch it dance over the frozen river. There’s a trail nearby you can explore by foot during the day that looks really magical with the pink skies, the staff suggested we check it out. The shops and restaurants are a bit of a walk away so we just bought some groceries and ate in our cabin most nights. There’s also a small hut by the lake where you can start a fire and have a little BBQ., which we did after getting some hotdogs from a the shops. Highly recommend this! Anyway we loved the place so much we extended another night, and lucky we did because there was an aurora storm that night too. I cannot recommend this place enough. Staying here was really a dream come true!!!

Situated in Inari in the Lapland region, Aurora Husky Hut features accommodation with free private parking, as well as access to a sauna. A stovetop and kettle are also available. Isolation and rustic feel. Being that far away from towns and other tourists was amazing.

Surrounded by nature and hiking trails, Vaattunki Wilderness Resort is located 24 km from Rovaniemi city centre. Great location, it’s in the forest with beautiful nature. But close to rovaniemi city center and Santa village (15 min drive). The food is good and staff very helpful. We had the shared bathroom/livingroom. But that was fine. Everything is clean and you don’t encounter the another people much because everyone has activities and at night they are at the main cabin (reception hut, where the buffet is).

Lodge 67°N Lapland is located in the centre of Äkäslompolo and at the foot of Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park. Free WiFi and parking are available. Fabulous hosts and a very cosy lodge, nicely decorated and with comfortable bed and nice outlook from the verandah

Slopeside Luppo - Original Log Cabin, Sauna, Ski 100m is located in Pyhätunturi. Situated 21 km from Amethyst Mine, the property features a terrace and free private parking. Authentic cabin, you have entire unit for yourself. Newly furnished kitchenette is fully functional. Cozy sauna and a big fireplace. Drying cupboard is very useful. The hosts are super helpful and are ready to assist you during your stay. All essentials are there, everything that you may need. I loved their attention to details: there are spare batteries, nice pot to cook poronkäristys, and even cinnamon for rice porridge. Another aspect: we were happy we booked a final cleaning (and I recommend it to other guests), it saves you time and worries in the morning of check-out.

Located 16 km from Arktikum Science Centre, Aava Riverside offers a garden, a private beach area and air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace and free WiFi. The accommodation features a sauna. Very Nice property. Much recommended.. Host are lovely

Friendly host who welcomed us even at 1am after our late flight, good location close to the airport and all the facilities comfortable nights stay

Offering a garden and garden view, Elves Cabin Wagon is situated in Rovaniemi, 1.2 km from Santa Claus Village and 1.4 km from Santa Claus Village - Main Post Office. It was very close to the Santa Claus Village and it was big enough for us, comfortable and easy, shower and toilet in the separate building were warm and very nice! I liked that the keeper Olli was very welcoming and hospitable and there for us when we needed him.

Situated in Levi in the Lapland region, The Fell features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking, as well as access to a sauna. This is the most amazing lodge. Everything was absolutely perfect. All of the facilities were excellent, and the location couldn't have been better, so peaceful. A stay everyone should experience.

Situated in Ranua in the Lapland region and Ranua Wildlife Park reachable within 16 km, Ranua Haistila Retreat with Elegant Views & Sauna near Rovaniemi features accommodation with free WiFi, BBQ... The house was perfect. Very comfortable Living room, hot saune, spacious bedrooms...so much better than expected. We even had a Christmas tree :-) The location is close to Ranua (15 minutes by car) and Rovaniemi (1 hour).
