Clean, big, and comfortable. It had a smart tv, water, kettle, tea and coffee. The staff are great, we would like to especially mention Yoga, as he is very welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was a great addition. Also great location, close to all restaurants in the centre. When I return to Ubud, I will stay here.

We stayed here for 5 days and it was just perfect. The moment we arrived, it felt so soothing and quiet, surrounded by rice fields and away from the busy roads. Check-in and check-out were very smooth, and the staff were amazing. They were always smiling, very helpful, and only asked questions when needed so we never felt disturbed. They even remembered my food allergies from day one, which really showed how attentive they were. The villa itself was super clean and very comfortable. They asked every day if we wanted cleaning and always did a great job. The bed was really comfortable, and the room had everything we needed, including a huge bathtub which we loved. The staff went above and beyond – they even helped us by getting small things from the shop like water bottles. The villa had a spa and a small restaurant in the lobby. The food was so tasty, with five different breakfast options that were all great. We also enjoyed trying new dishes every day. Location was perfect too – it was right in the center of Ubud but still quiet, with no traffic noise at all. It was about a 10-minute walk to the main center, and they even gave us scooter rides to the road and picked us up if we called. What we loved most was how kind and happy the staff were. They made the stay feel so warm and welcoming. Honestly, there was nothing to complain about – everything was just perfect. I would highly recommend this villa for anyone – solo travelers, couples, families, or even digital nomads. We left with so many happy memories and would love to come back.

The staff was friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect. The view from our room was breathtaking, and we are already looking forward to returning.

Probably the nicest place we have ever stayed, we extended an extra night! The villa is amazing and clean, we loved the pool. The breakfast is great and the staff are so lovely and accommodating. Quiet location but they provide scooters for a great price. Would 100% recommend to anyone coming to Ubud!

Despite being surrounded by nature, the room was impeccably clean—honestly even better than some 5-star hotels I’ve stayed in. The bed was very cozy, and the atmosphere made it easy to unwind completely. What truly set our stay apart was the warmth and hospitality of the staff. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. When my husband’s drone accidentally fell on the roof of another villa, the manager, Dede, personally climbed up to retrieve it. The food was also good, and we enjoyed chatting with Alex, a sweet and engaging young man who made us feel even more welcome. We stayed in a Jungle Cabin for 4 nights, and from the moment we checked in and were greeted with “Welcome home,” it genuinely felt like home. Leaving was hard — when your hearts truly didn’t want to say goodbye.

A great place to get an authentic Ubudian and Guest House experience. The host was so sweet in gifting me an upgrade for my short weekend visit for an event nearby.

In the middle of the rice field, you wake up and enjoy the beauty of the nature. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was included and it was very nice as well.

Offering garden views, Sokwayah Jungle Villas & Retreat in Ubud offers accommodation, an outdoor swimming pool, a garden, a terrace and a restaurant. Our stay was unforgettable; we enjoyed every moment and felt everything was taken care of from the first day to the last. The villa itself is spotless, beautifully designed, and very well looked after, with a fantastic pool and a breathtaking view that makes every day feel special. One of the highlights was the setting: just a short distance from Ubud center while still being wonderfully quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. It was very easy to explore all the main attractions and then return to a calm, comfortable place where we could truly rest and enjoy our time. Breakfast quickly became one of our favorite daily rituals, whether we had it on the balcony or by the pool, always accompanied by a gorgeous view. Putu deserves a very special mention, as he is incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely outstanding in the way he takes care of guests. He organized everything for us, from renting bikes to arranging a fantastic massage on our balcony, and all the staff were just as friendly and hospitable. We were so happy with our stay that we are already looking forward to coming back. We warmly recommend this villa to anyone considering it and are truly grateful for everything that was done for us.
