Situé à Bukit Lawang, l’établissement Green Travelodge Bukit Lawang comprend des hébergements dotés d’un coin salon. Great staff and awesome vibe, gardens are beautiful and the rooms/bungalows are simple but very well decorated and they have everything to have a comfortable stay. They look exactly like the pictures. Very well located to start the hike to see the orangutans. Restaurant was very good, and it was nice to have dinner and join the staff who was playing guitar and singing. Breakfast was awesome, I loved the porridge (baked, steel cut) with local fruits. You really get a lot for what you pay. I hope to go back!

We stayed at Garden Inn for four nights, and they were unforgettable. The room was beautiful, designed in a natural style—a combination of stone and wood, which is exactly what it should be since we were in the jungle. It had a very lovely and cozy atmosphere, complete with a terrace. Everything was clean, and the bed was comfortable. There was no hot water in the bathroom, but we came to the jungle—why would there be? Every evening, we had visitors—macaque monkeys who entertained us. On two nights, they used our terrace as their bedroom. They weren’t aggressive; on the contrary, our terrace became their playground, especially for the teenage monkeys. It was an amazing experience. We highly recommend it—if you want to be close to nature, Garden Inn is the perfect choice. The guys at the reception are absolute gems. They were always there to help and answer any questions or concerns. Big kudos to them—nothing could surprise or confuse them.

Was the best experience for anyone wanting a real jungle experience. For the lodge expect basic facilities, but it makes it more authentic, in these gorgeous huts on a hill in the mountain. Expect to see many monkeys and to be woken up by watching the sun rise over the jungle. As someone who wanted to be surrounded in nature, this was perfect for us. The trek was also incredible. Rifan and Ahan were incredible, helping us spot all the animals, whilst being great fun the whole way, and going out of their way to be great guides the whole time. We did 3 days 2 nights and spotted orangutans, hornbills, both black and white gibbons, all kinds of monkeys, lizards and turtles. Definitely worth trekking here, as it is family run, and they are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Also food was great.

Great staff, all inquiries solved, felt like home. Family atmosphere, great food and view. You need to be quite fit to get there though :)

I was lost trying to find it and he met me near the main road. Very cool to chill and have a conversation with. Relaxed. The property is very quiet with great clean air. Andy provided a coconut and coffee in the morning, as well as some herbal tea upon my arrival when I mentioned I was sick.

Le trek avec Orangutan Adventure était exceptionnel, parfaitement organisé et respectueux de la nature. Équipe adorable, merci pour l’aide précieuse d’Ipul pour le transport depuis l’aéroport de Medan. Une expérience magique que nous recommandons à 100 % 💕✨

L’établissement Olitas House Nias se trouve à quelques pas de ce lieu d’intérêt : Plage Sorake. We enjoyed it so much that we kept extending and stayed almost a month, i think its the best accomodation u can get in Nias. :) Nice stylish place, bed comfortable and we slept super well. It also has a well equiped kitchen and living room. We really liked and enjoyed the view overlooking green garden and porch. :) Only small downside is that living room is shared space so ur directly to it but it was no problem at all for us and owner ensured it worked out, staff could be a bit more attentive too.

The homestay currently consists of three one-room cabins and a small house w/ a compact kitchen. It’s located in a quiet area away from the busy main road. The owner is a very kind elementary school teacher who lives near the homestay with his family. I stayed in one of the cabins and enjoyed the cleanliness, the hot water in the shower, the excellent WiFi, the exceptional view from the back porch, and the incredible hospitality of the whole family.
