Great staff and awesome vibe, gardens are beautiful and the rooms/bungalows are simple but very well decorated and they have everything to have a comfortable stay. They look exactly like the pictures. Very well located to start the hike to see the orangutans. Restaurant was very good, and it was nice to have dinner and join the staff who was playing guitar and singing. Breakfast was awesome, I loved the porridge (baked, steel cut) with local fruits. You really get a lot for what you pay. I hope to go back!

Jättefint hotell med jättefin inredning i djungelstil på precis rätt ställe i Bukit Lawang, nere vid floden (turiststråket). 😍🤩 Vi hade två olika rum, ett billigare (se min andra recension) och ett lite dyrare (skiljde typ 40 kr) och detta rum som var lite dyrare var 100% bättre. Vi var på översta våningen, egen balkong med hängmatta och med fantastisk utsikt över floden och BRA luft i rummet då det var väldigt öppet (vid i taket) med monterat myggnät. Rummet var stort och luftigt och det fanns inget behov av fläkt eller AC. Djungelfeeling deluxe!

Great staff, all inquiries solved, felt like home. Family atmosphere, great food and view. You need to be quite fit to get there though :)

The homestay currently consists of three one-room cabins and a small house w/ a compact kitchen. It’s located in a quiet area away from the busy main road. The owner is a very kind elementary school teacher who lives near the homestay with his family. I stayed in one of the cabins and enjoyed the cleanliness, the hot water in the shower, the excellent WiFi, the exceptional view from the back porch, and the incredible hospitality of the whole family.

Balcony with Sea view. Only 10 meters to the Ocean (private beach). Free drinking water and hot water. It’s possible to buy coffee and small goods at the hostel. The owner is very kind. Bed is big and comfortable. Fan is enough to keep the room cool with open windows.

I am actually so impress with Padang's people hospitality. They are so welcoming its makes me feel so bad😅😅. The room is nice and the environment is very peaceful. The food ia good. Tea and coffee served in the cafe is sooo good I forgot to ask and buy some to take home.
