Everything was impeccable and the spaces are all very cozy. The private bath was a such a treat. We loved the views from the room and shared spaces as the house is next to the forest. Akira is an awesome host. Even though we stayed here during green (and rainy) season, he gave us lots of recommendations of things to do around the area. He speaks English fluently so communication was very easy. Can’t recommend enough!

Private Onsen, beautifully built. Onsen time scheduled for 45 minutes so everyone can get his turn without stress. Multi Onsen booking possible. The owners (a very nice couple) deserve the title of „best hosts ever“. They printed out train schedules and circled the trains we had to catch, they helped us plan a daytrip, they drove us to the next hotel, so we didn’t have to get a cab. If I could, I would even give additional stars for this pension. I will certainly return.

A 10 minutos a pie de Happo One Ski Resort, los huéspedes del Log Cottage Epoch pueden alquilar una casa entera. Great hosts who are very helpful in transportation on a daily basis. Getting to the ski slopes, ski rental, groceries, restaurants or even shopping was so easy as they are always available to drop and pick up. We did not have to wait anywhere. The cottage is squeaky clean and we'll furnished and very comfortable with floor, heating, hot water etc. Beautiful place, 3 mins drive from the slopes and toshi san and his wife are always available to pick you up or drop you off on time. Very knowledgeable and helpful with trains, ski rentals etc. Oh, and amazing value for money. Cottage was spacious for our family of four and the amenities are great. Hope we get this place again next season. The onsite onsen is also great.

They use eco friendly and organic products throughout and have a conscious eco friendly way of running it. Naomi and Koki went above and beyond. My husband is a coeliac and so they made a delicious rice bread to cater for his dietary needs. They were happy to help with lifts to the bus stop and ski fields. It felt like nothing was too difficult or an imposition. We would happily go back to Il Bosco. Thank you!

The location is perfect, just a short walk up to Goryu.The staff are amazing ,so easy to talk to and very helpful with everything.Pickup and dropoffs from train or bus station,Heru even booked our bus tickets to Nagano for us then drove us to 7/11 to pay. The osen downstairs is a joy after a long day skiing. All in all we really enjoyed our stay and could not be happier !

The provided shuttle services to get to the slopes in the morning and into the city in the evening was perfect and totally unexpected. The staff is super friendly and very helpful. Delicious restaurants in walkable distance (5-30min) and very quiet suburb compared to Hakuba.
