Best house and best host ever! Zack, the host, helped us everything starting from booking a restaurant, contacting ski school and preparing everything in the house. We were surprised when we opened the fridge and found everything is well prepared. (Milk, yogurt, butter, jam, eggs, fruits, ice cream, ice and even a frozen beer glass in the fridge.) Also he prepared rice, noodles, snacks, chocolates, tea, coffee and etc. Everything mentioned is free of charge! Another thing that we like is the dish washing service, the host offer to do the dishes by just put dirty dishes in the service area and they will clean and put it back in the service area later. Although the host lives nearby and helps us a lot, we still feel private and comfortable. Thank you so much Zack, we do appreciated your action! This house has 6 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 4 toilets. Very spacious! We will definitely come back! 10 out of 10! Do not hesitate to book this house!

Rodeado por montanhas exuberantes em Minakami, o Tenjin Lodge fica a apenas 5 minutos a pé do Tenjindaira Snow Resort Ropeway e da Estação JR Doai. Had a very comfortable stay in this truly stunning area. Especially thanks to the amazingly friendly and helpful owner of the establishment, who gave great advice and went the extra mile to make my stay very memorable. And very delicious! Very homely vibes as well. Even though it is a very remote place, it is still very good accessible by public transport (10-15 minutes walk from Doai station, which is an attraction on its own). Just make sure to check the timetable of the trains (they run only 5 or 6 times a day or so). But the ambiance, service and the environment made this one of my most memorable stays of my vacation. Honne!

Our accommodation was a semi-detached house in a group of two, with a living room, bathroom, and kitchen on the ground floor, and two bedrooms on the first floor, all with nice wooden floors. There is plenty of space inside, plus a lovely terrace and a small garden outside. The house is located on a hill with a view of the valley. The driveway to the upper houses is steep and includes a 180-degree turn. We stayed there for two nights and really enjoyed it. Check-in was contactless and easy. The kitchen is very well equipped. There is also a washing machine and dryer, which are perfect for longer stays. All in all, it’s a very nice accommodation surrounded by nature that invites you to stay longer.

Set among Nikko’s peaceful forests and mountains, Nikko Park Lodge Mountain Side offers homely accommodation with free Wi-Fi just steps from hiking trails. Lovely homely feel. Ken-san and his wife were excellent hosts who made excellent food for a fair price. They even ran me a big hot bath and kindly offered me a lift to the station when I left. Ken-san also went out of his way to help me plan my day trips and gave me recommendations for what to see/how to save money etc. Bed had an electric blanket too which was amazing in winter! Loved it, felt very taken care of!
