The cottage was very comfortable, quiet, clean, and spacious. The kitchen was well appointed and if there was something we needed that wasn’t supplied we just had to ask Mayumi the owner.

This place was just amazing: it was exactly like the pictures, a cute and quiet place to stay in nature. The room was big and clean and it had two windows with view on the forest. We also had access to the private bath (in another building) that was beautiful and relaxing. Last but not least, the owners were so thoughtful and nice! They took time showing us the moon in the Observatory and during breakfast they gave us a lot of good recommendations for the rest of our trip. I am highly recommending!

Kurokawa Mori no Cottage ligger 41 km fra Aso-bjerget og tilbyder en have og en terrasse samt indkvartering med aircondition, balkon og gratis wi-fi. This is the best place I have ever stayed in OITA. The house is very nice and very cozy. It is very warm and the place is very beautiful! Even my mum and dad who do not normally say anything was very vocal how much they love the place. The owners were very helpful and very warm people too. Just a note that you cannot go here without a car because it is in the middle of the forest. But renting a car and going here was the best decision we have made for our whole Fukuoka trip!
