Hokkoma Aso Private cottage 1棟貸しコテージ南阿蘇, a property with a garden and a terrace, is located in Aso, 35 km from Egao Kenko Stadium Kumamoto, 45 km from Suizenji Park, as well as 46 km from Hosokawa... The cottage was very comfortable, quiet, clean, and spacious. The kitchen was well appointed and if there was something we needed that wasn’t supplied we just had to ask Mayumi the owner.

They are very interested and care about their guests. During the evening we had an amazing 4 course dinner and in the morning an amazing breakfast. Also, we could make use of the private onsen during the evening and watched Jupiter and the moon in the observatory which was both very special. When there was snow during breakfast, the owner took care of us by checking the road conditions and help us deciding the route. Thank you very much for the truly wonderful and perfect stay. We enjoyed it very much.

Set 41 km from Mount Aso, Kurokawa Mori no Cottage offers a garden, a terrace and air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony and free WiFi. This is the best place I have ever stayed in OITA. The house is very nice and very cozy. It is very warm and the place is very beautiful! Even my mum and dad who do not normally say anything was very vocal how much they love the place. The owners were very helpful and very warm people too. Just a note that you cannot go here without a car because it is in the middle of the forest. But renting a car and going here was the best decision we have made for our whole Fukuoka trip!
