Personalet er meget søde og betænksomme og vi fik uvurderlig hjælp, da vores færge blev forsinket på grund af blæsevejr - personalet taler engelsk og er nemme at kommunikere med. Hver dag, når vi kom tilbage vores ture rundt på øen, stod der smoothies og lækre desserter lavet af lokale råvarer køleskabet. Stedet ligger 20 minutters kørsel fra lufthavnen og 40 minutters kørsel fra havnen i Miyanoura. Det er tæt på indkøbsmuligheder i Onoaida og restuaranter i Anbo. Der er service til 4 personer og alt nødvendigt køkkengrej til basal madlavning. Vi havde lejet en bil, så det var ikke svært at komme til.

The cottage was very comfortable, quiet, clean, and spacious. The kitchen was well appointed and if there was something we needed that wasn’t supplied we just had to ask Mayumi the owner.

It had been such a pleasant experience to stay in this unique cottage, the room is neat and tidy with all facilities in place. We were supposed to be there before 6:00pm the latest but we finally arrived late around 8:30pm as we lost our way. Without getting the electronic toll card (ETC card) from the car company, we were stuck at the toll collection point ( cash is not acceptable), the host was so nice to direct us to find another way out and waited until our late check in. Really appreciate for his kindness. Make your booking at this cottage is a very good choice.

The kitchen comes with a cooking plate and a rice cooker, which was very convenient for me.

Also well located to hike the Arakawa trail, I was able to take the first bus without problems. You can also order bento for the trail the day before if you want to, which is super convenient. Also located near a supermarket and the main town, if you want to buy supplies or eat in a local restaurant. It was super clean and super comfortable.

TIDA Resort Yakushima 旧 屋久島海の胡汀路てぃーだ ligger i Yakushima i regionen Kagoshima og tilbyder indkvartering med gratis wi-fi og gratis privat parkering samt adgang til et boblebad. It is a rustic style but very cozy cottage, with a beautiful view from the top floor! It is very spacious for Japanese standards, and the food we ordered was delicious!

Very comfortable accommodation with everything you need. The staff were so thorough to ensure my stay was comfortable. The outdoor bath is one of the best I've experienced in Japan. It's in a beautiful Part of the country and we'll worth a stay. I didn't want to leave

Ginga no Yado Kinoko2seigo har udsigt til en have, gratis wi-fi og gratis privat parkering og ligger i Shimo-tajiri, 38 km fra Aso-bjerget. The accommodation is run by a very kind and caring couple. They are very interested and care about their guests. During the evening we had an amazing 4 course dinner and in the morning an amazing breakfast. Also, we could make use of the private onsen during the evening and watched Jupiter and the moon in the observatory which was both very special. When there was snow during breakfast, the owner took care of us by checking the road conditions and help us deciding the route. Thank you very much for the truly wonderful and perfect stay. We enjoyed it very much.
