Beautiful property in Nuwara Eliya with a very kind and helpful host. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated. It’s a little walk from the town, but it has a beautiful view overlooking the lake. The host provided us with a grand and delicious breakfast the morning we left, and also helped us get to the train station in time when our car broke down. Overall great experience.

The property was a self contained flat above the owners house. It had been tastefully decorated and designed and was extremely clean. The bed was large and comfortable. The bedroom window showed an amazing view which could be seen from the bed. The owner had thought of everything. Tea, coffee, shampoo,, bath wash,. There is also a sitting room with a coffee table I would have taken home if I could. The owner organised a very reasonable tuk tuk to the railway station. There are steepish stairs up to the property but Leslie helped with the luggage.

Don’t be deceived by the odd little path to the house, it is well worth it. Priyanga, who manages the property is one of the most lovely people you will meet. Do not skip breakfast or dinner, he makes fantastic food. Priyanga goes the extra mile in assisting with arranging tuk tuks for the early morning climb. His trusty companion Tommy (the neighbours dog) was also exceptionally sweet. This has by far been our favourite stay in Sri Lanka, we actually extended an additional night. The new water heater actually generates hot water which is great after climbing Sri Padaya.
