Dinner is just amazing!!❤️ homemade food full of different flavors and made with a lot of love. For the rest everything was well arranged with the safari tours. 100% recommended 👌

With garden views, Nirvaan Safari Lodge is situated in Wilpattu and has a restaurant, room service, bar, garden, terrace and barbecue. Some units have a balcony and/or a patio with lake views. Nirvaan is a wonderful lodge in the middle of nature and very close to Wilpattu national park. We were lucky to be around when Ranil, the owner, was there. Ranil is a respected conservation biologist and a wealth of knowledge about flora and fauna in Wilpattu and in Sri Lanka at large. He arranges safaris with good naturalists and drivers. His trips may be a bit more costly than what other providers will offer you, but you get a better jeep where you can interact with the guide and driver while you drive. We saw lots of wildlife even though we did not see the big ones- elephants and leopards. Ranil runs an organisation that aims to protect wildlife in cooperation with local people. He was so kind to take us to see one of the projects nearby. We admire the work he does. We highly recommend this lodge.

Set in Wilpattu, TEMBO Cottage Wilpattu offers accommodation with a year-round outdoor pool, free WiFi, a garden and a restaurant. Spotless, beautiful, quiet and comfortable. The rooms were so luxurious and great value for money, the pool area was lovely as well. safaris with great guides - seen everything including young leopards and more other animals.

Located in Kalpitiya, MKS - Kite & Wing Foil camp provides free WiFi, and guests can enjoy free bikes, a garden and a private beach area. MKS is a fantastic spot to learn how to kitesurf from scratch. It has all elements required, good wind, good equipment, shallow warm waters and best of all, an amazing team of great kitesurfers who hosted us with love! The concept of morning Yoga was also super relaxing.
