With Eros Shopping Centre reachable in 19 km, Windhoek Game Camp offers accommodation, a restaurant, an outdoor swimming pool, a terrace and a bar. My son waited his entire trip for a stay at this resort. Dinner was delicious and breakfast was really good. The staff is super attentive. The pool is heated and it was good even in July. And well, the four giraffes wandering the area along with the oryx and springboks- what’s not to love. They have electric sheets to keep warm during the night.

With garden views, Okapuka Safari Lodge is set near Windhoek and has a restaurant, a shared lounge, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and sun terrace. We’ve stayed for two nights at Okapuka Safari Lodge and it’s just amazing! From the recently renovated lodge perfect to every detail to one of the best staff we’ve come across in Namibia (specially 16, Becky and Casper), you’ll have a blast there! There are several ostriches and warthogs roaming around the lodge which is something a lot more magical than one can think of. Game drives are very comfy and it’s almost guaranteed you’ll get to see the elusive white rhino. Breakfast is great! Honestly, supper was good, but not to the standard of everything else, but it could be just our taste. All in all, Okapuka Safari Lodge is totally worth it! You won’t regret spending some relaxing time there.

One night in a beautiful lodge, room was the best one we had on our 2 week holiday in Namibia. Would love to have stayed more than one night, but was cost prohibitive.

Located on a desert reserve between Sesriem and Solitaire, Soft Adventure Camp offers chalet accommodation for nature enthusiasts, just 30 minutes drive away from Namib-Naukluft National Park. I stayed here for 2 nights with my group of 15 people. Initially, I was hesitant to choose this property because the photos on the booking page don’t reflect its true essence, the images are low-quality, amateur, and not updated. Based on the pictures alone, I had doubts about the cleanliness and overall quality compared to the price. However, the camp completely exceeded my expectations. It’s a true treat and an authentic Namibian experience. The location is absolutely perfect, right between Windhoek, Walvis Bay, and the Sesriem/Sossusvlei road. If you stay here, you will save a lot of long-distance driving while visiting the must-see places in the region.

Solitaire Mountain Lodge offers views of the Namib Desert and the Naukluft Mountains. It features 1 outdoor pool, a garden and a restaurant. Loved our stay here! The cleanest pool I have seen in Namibia, kind staff and excellent dinner!

Auas Safari Lodge is situated 45 km outside of Windhoek. Guests can explore the wildlife surrounding them on daily game drives, guided hiking trails and bird watching expeditions. Location beautiful...the staff felt like family. Excellent food Facilities wonderful Game drives fantastic

Located 50 km from Solitaire, Rostock Ritz features African-style bungalows located along the riverbeds and mountain slopes of the Namib Desert. Absolutely beautiful place with a unique location !! When I come back to Namibia, you will find me here ❤️

Best food in 15 days, dinner was magnificent! Breakfast also, tea, coffee or hot chocolate was served outside our fantastic rooms half an hour before breakfast was served. So one could sit and bask in the early morning sun while viewing the beautiful garden and surroundings. Freshly baked homemade bread, jams, rusks, scrambled eggs, bacon...all you could ever wish for.
