Forest garden residence ligger 2 km från Tarsier Conservation Area och erbjuder luftkonditionerat boende med en utomhuspool, en trädgård, en terrass och gratis WiFi. So peaceful place run by family host! Everything was perfect for us. The location is perfect base for exploring bohol. We rented a scooter (which is almost new one), can go chocolate hill, loboc river, waterfalls, tarsier area easily. All the facilities were super clean and great! Pool is nice to swim. cafe next to the pool offer nice coffee and drinks. garden is peaceful. The host family is really kind and nice!! Can’t skip to mention about the food. Every meal of restaurant was awesome!! So we rearranged our schedule to eat at least one meal deliberately at their restaurant.

We especially loved the eco-friendly concept, being more mindful of our own footprint on the environment and the island. The hosts were extremely friendly and responsive, with lots of great recommendations for food, activities, scooter rental, etc. Breakfast was also very tasty :)

Treehouse de Valentine ligger i Balamban och erbjuder boende med utsikt över bergen samt en utomhuspool, en trädgård, en terrass, en restaurang och grillmöjligheter. Ett fantastiskt fint och stort hus med snygga detaljer och träd som växer igenom huset. Eftersom att det inte finns några fönster, förutom några vid sängarna, kändes det som om man sov utomhus. En härlig naturlig pool där det konstant rinner nytt fräscht källvatten i. Små "vattenfall" och vattendrag där det går att svalka sig i. Vill man komma bort från allt och alla är detta det perfekta stället. Maten var god och prisvärd. Något små portioner om man är stor i maten dock.

Hidden Valley ligger i Siquijor och har havsutsikt, en restaurang, en bar, en trädgård, en terrass och rumsservice. Både WiFi och privat parkering finns på Hidden Valley utan extra kostnad. The staff was really nice. It’s very peaceful around the area so perfect if you are looking for something quiet. Basic room and shower but everything that you need and they will make sure that you have a pleasant stay!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Tongo Hills Cottages, and were blown away by this hidden gem. From the incredible mountain views to the warm hospitality (Zenia, Rosalie, Ate Marcel, the owners-Caroline...everyone!), our time at Tongo exceeded every expectation. We stayed in one of the cozy bahay kubos 'Adelfa', which featured beautiful native hardwood details, bamboo decor, and luxurious modern amenities like WiFi and hot shower. The room was spotless and the beds were surprisingly comfortable despite being small (my partner is Dutch). We also loved the cute attention to detail and add ons like: locally-made soap&shampoo bars, movie & bonfire nights.

Grand Cabins ligger 12 minuters promenad från Alona Beach och erbjuder luftkonditionerat boende med en trädgård, en terrass, en balkong och gratis WiFi. I loved the hospitality of the hosts! They are so kind, reply very quickly and help you with anything you might need. The pictures do not show how pretty is this place. It is also modern and clean. I highly recommend you to book it. Yes the road is bumpy but so what? The place is so quiet and relaxing and I had the best sleep there.

Skott's Comfy Lodge ligger i Bantayan ö i regionen Visayas, en kort bit från Bobel strand, och erbjuder boende med gratis WiFi, en lekplats, en trädgård och gratis privat parkering. We enjoyed this small, beautiful, intimate lodge. The rooms were spacious, absolutely clean, no evidence of ants which are everywhere in the islands. Bathroom ultra modern, air conditioning was heavenly. Our biggest surprise was although I read online that there was a shared cooking area ...I was pleased to see it was a four burner stove with oven! We home cooked almost every meal which is what my kids who traveled to meet us want to do so they can try American food. We even had access to a charcoal grill. We absolutely felt at home and wish we had more time to spend at this location. Beach access was just steps away. A lovely beach restaurant about 500 yards down the beach. Bicycles for rent next door. But the catch to all of this is it was quiet! secluded! Not in the middle of the hubbub. We made one trip to a market and got frozen and fresh meat, poultry and seafood, some canned and packaged items and fresh produce and we had enough refrigerator and freezer space to handle a weeks worth of food for 7. Mrs. Virginia and her staff were absolutely accommodating and always inquiring if we needed anything. I like to think we are low maintenance but other cultures don't necessarily see us the way we see ourselves....but I genuinely believe that we will be welcomed back!! We look forward to returning in 2026!

Tavern's Room for rent ligger i Panglao, 13 minuters promenad från Alona Beach och 12 km från Hinagdanan Cave, och erbjuder boende med gratis WiFi, luftkonditionering, en trädgård och en terrass. My stay in Tavern rooms was great! The room is spacious, everything was clean, the location is great. Close the tourist area, but far from the noise. But close to many restaurants and to the beach. The air conditioner worked really well, tv, and fridge. You have a table and chair, place to put your things. I could wash my clothes and had a place to hang outside to dry. Bed and pillows comfortable. The front porch in each room is very convenient. The only problem was the internet that didn’t work very well. Sheilla, the host, was completely amazing, very helpful, available and kind. Is possible to go to tours with good prices and she can take you there.
