Situated at the base of the wild Tsitsikamma Mountains, The Fernery overlooks an impressive 30-metre waterfall in the Sanddrift River gorge. The massage was great, food was perfect, don’t need to do reservation, enough place for everyone. Hot tube was amazing, we took hit bath after sunset, sound of waterfall nearby!!!! Very relaxing, good sleep after.

We had total privacy, the lodge was large with a garden overlooking the river, with a large covered terrace and outside seating.It was well equipped and had all we needed. The decorations were of high quality and we felt spoilt and relaxed. There was a swimming pool a short walk away. The gardens were mature and full of flowers. A little oasis to relax and feel cool.

We were close to nature and saw a lot of animals in our short stay, we should have booked for longer! It is a perfect location for a family or business event. Breakfast was prepared in the villa by the breakfast team and everyone loved it! The wood fired hot tubs are great too!

Fabulous place to stay and visit Amakhala game park and Addo National Elephant Reserve. Staff and guides are excellent and have us memories for a lifetime seeing Elephants, Rhinos, and even lions very close up plus all the other animals in the wild.

Located in Addo, Charihandra Game Lodge features free WiFi throughout, air conditioning and private parking is available on-site. Guests can enjoy swimming at the outdoor pool. The staff was wonderful. From the check-in experience to the restaurant, everyone was really helpful. The food (breakfast and dinner) was great. We loved the game drive on the property.
